This feels very secure in the tub and it's alot safer for my active baby in the bath.

This is an excellent tub seat! I love how it has three stabilizing areas that stick to the tub - makes it feel very safe. I love how it can recline too! Very well made and sturdy. Very supportive. I think it's a great size too - it can "grow" with baby. The price is very fair too! I would definitely recommend!

So we've been using one of those reclined seats with perforations in it, almost like a hammock, but firmer because it's a solid plastic rim around the whole thing. It's really important to get the baby to use their core and legs though, which is why you do tummy time and crawling exercises. So we've been gradually phasing out the early baby stuff that encourages our baby to just lay back, not using her core or legs. We figured this would be the next step.The seat does what it's supposed to do, and it does it very well.* The suction cup on the bottom works great.* The arms fold out easy enough that it's easy for us to pull her out or put her in, but they're sturdy enough that she can't get out on her own.* The build quality is nice, enough support in all directions that unless you overfill the tub, her face isn't making it to the water.* The baby loves the little toys it comes with, especially the turtle. We have other silicone/rubber bath toys, so this is new to her. 2 of the 3 included here wind up and wiggle through the water.So yeah, it meets those expectations for a great baby product.I've got mixed feelings about it in practical use though.* The first thing our baby started doing is slapping the water with both hands. She doesn't do this on the recliner. She's done a fair bit of sensory work, but many kids like to play with water well into ages 3-5. I sit straddling the edge of the tub, so before where I'd occasionally get a little wet, now I'm getting soaked.* When using the recliner, her body is a lot more exposed for us to be able to wipe her down, even in the more sensitive areas. It's so exposed that when she was younger, we'd put a towel over her body and just let her hands stick out, so she could feel warmer and less exposed. That calmed her down so much, made bath time a breeze. We only have to pick her up to get her back and bum clean. But with this seat, you have to pick the baby up out of it to not only clean the backside, but also the frontside. It's much easier to do the frontside cleaning when she's reclined than holding her up with one hand and cleaning with the other.* Our routine is food, bath time, milk while reclined, sleep. When she was on the recliner, it was significantly easier to get her to go to sleep because she was already another 15+ min of relaxation time in the hour prior to sleep. But when she's sitting up, she has to use her core and legs to balance. And she's excited to play with the water. So suddenly now it takes a lot longer to get her to go to sleep.I didn't take any stars for these issues because I don't think these are really the fault of this product... more the idea of the ground level bathtub chair at all. The way I look at this, it's basically training her to start supporting herself in the bathtub, and we should hopefully be able to phase it out in a few months.

I just received this baby bath seat yesterday. It comes nicely packed in its own box and comes disassembled. However, assembly is very easy and it amounts to just clicking a few pieces into place. It is very simple. There are suction cups that work extremely well on the bottom of this seat, so it adheres to the tub floor firmly. The molded seat seems comfortable and all the parts are wide and seem to be ok for a baby of either gender to use without hurting his or her body parts. The seat is suitable for any infant once they can comfortably sit in an upright position, so around six months. This is a good transition when moving baby from an infant bather to tub bathing during that awkward time when they are sitting, but not real stable yet. The chair can be used for several months for most children. I love the neutral color, the shape, and the ease of assembly. I also love how sturdy it sits and how well the suction cups work.

Bath time is so much easier with this bath seat. This seat is easy to put together and has a nice suction that holds well to the bottom of the tub. My son was happy to sit in it and was still able to play with his bath toys. It was also nice to see the three bath toys included in the package. Two wind-up “swimming” toys and a watering can elephant. I like that it’s easy to quickly rinse the seat off after bath time. I’ve had mesh seats before and those have been difficult to clean the soap off of.

It looks and feels quality and the plastic is very smooth and almost soft feeling. I love it's versatility in that you don't just have to limit use to the bathtub. I like how the 'arms' open up as it makes it much easier to sit your child in it without having to lift them up and weave their legs into the leg holes. This is one of those must-have baby items.

It is hard for me to take a bath for my child, because my child likes moving and messing with water. I completely understand that’s kids’ nature, but I was just worried my child may fall. With this baby bath seat, I feel it is much easier and more enjoyable for my child to take a bath. The suction cup underneath the seat can make sure the seat stays securely, and the armrest can keep my child from falling.
