Awful quality control. The different pieces of wood used to make this piece were not dried to same humidity level before they were cut.As a result, in lower humidity levels (around 30% during the winter) the track becomes completely curved (concave) and won't mate with other tracks.If rehydrated, it lays flat. But within 12 hours it is badly curved again.

This piece is nicely made; I thought maxim was a vendor for Brio, but then realized that they make their own products. The rest of my set is original Brio, so as far as being a purist goes, it was a departure for me.

My son loves this piece. It allows him to be so creative with his track building! Train wheels move along the groove in the wood well and is good quality.

I like the versatility of a 4 way intersection. I read other reviews about the quality, but my came nice and flat, and has lasted well so far.

This piece of track is just what our train track needed. The piece fits well & built well. Now my little nephews train can go any direction he wants. He's quiet & play for hours.
