After waiting 17 months for Incase to take over Microsoft's business they ship a keyboard which fails after 4 days use. Incase isn't tech savvy enough for this. They are used to doing cases. Mine worked normally for 4 days then looked like batteries died. They had not. After much debug we find that if you disconnect batteries and reconnect it will spew the date from the keyboard to the machine. Control C will stop this and it will work normally for about 2-3 minutes when it will stop and appear like the batteries died. Rinse and repeat. 100% reproducible. The keyboard is effectively a boat anchor. Pulled out the numpad just to see if it did same. It still seems to work fine. The keyboard is unusable. If you buy one of these, buy from Amazon cause the the return will be easy. Buying from Incase is painful and slow. They are in way over their head here. I'd like to think I got a one off failure but I don't think so. In a couple weeks a replacement one will arrive and we will see. I predict same problem as this looks bad after taking almost 18 months to prepare this product which was a mature product. Their return process is a mess at best. AVOID.

Microsoft originally produced this keyboard as the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard. A couple years ago Microsoft stop selling them. This is an EXACT copy of that keyboard! It looks like it's made by the same manufacturer. The Microsoft version sold with an ergonomic mouse and keypad. This one doesn't come with a mouse, but does have the keypad, which I never use. Many of my co-workers use the Microsoft keyboard, but we have been unable to find anything like it, until now. I like the ergonomic feel and it can be place in the middle of your screen because it doesn't have the keypad on the right side. If you are right handed, you don't have to reach over where the keypad is on most keyboards. Very nice key action with a short travel when pressed. I converted a lot of people at work who were having wrist issues to this keyboard. It takes about 3 days to get used to it. I have not had wrist issues since using this keyboard. It takes 2 triple A batteries and you don't have to turn it off. Batteries last about a year. Very convenient.

I have ordered the Sculpt twice and both times it was missing the USB dongle. Useless product.
