These index cards are quite thin. They're almost as thin as paper, but a bit thicker. They're nice to write on and they're perfect for what I'll be using them for. I research things and I write a lot but I make a lot of notes that I need to keep organized and these are just right. They aren't flimsy slips of paper, they're all a uniform size and they're easy to file and keep organized. I like them a lot. I don't know if recommending them to others is going to help someone else because we all have our preferences, but I prefer these to a notebook and if anyone else relates to that, then I do recommend them. They're easier to work with than a notebook for my notes.

I recently purchased the High Quality Ruled 4 x 6 Index Cards, and I couldn't be happier! These index cards are made from bright white paper that is super smooth and easy to write on. The size of 4 x 6 inches is just perfect for all my students' needs. Whether they are studying for a test or creating flashcards, these cards are a must-have.One of the best features is that they are sturdy and durable. The thickness is ideal, and I love that ink or markers don’t bleed through. This makes them perfect for my students when they are preparing for exams. They can write important information on one side and draw diagrams or definitions on the other side.These cards are also fantastic for making Science sight word cards. The ruled lines on one side help keep notes organized, while the blank side allows for creativity. My students use them to jot down notes from their textbooks, making studying much easier. Overall, these index cards are an essential tool for any student looking to stay organized and enhance their learning experience. I highly recommend them!

These were identical to Amazon basics note cards. Actually they came labeled as Amazon basics, so I'm not sure why they cost any more than the same product that is listed as Amazon basics. They are fine as flash cards, but not sure why they are priced higher.

These are rather descent flash cards. They're not thick, but as shown in picture 4, they don't have much press through when using a ballpoint pen. Bleed through is a different story though, as a sharpie can definitely be seen, and ballpoint pen shows up faintly. The printed lines are not the best either. I don't usually knock my ratings down for an item based on price, but I'm very close to doing so with these. A quick price comparison shows that these are not a bargain, and even more expensive than name brand cards. Were they to lower their price, I would definitely recommend them. As it is now, I'd suggest passing on these for better quality, better priced cards and if I were to consider price in my rating these would receive 3 stars.

My roommate is in school and had been asking me to remind him he needs index cards, I kept forgetting and then I saw these listed. I can use them for recipes and to do lists, so I figured maybe a thousand wouldn't be a bad number.Okay so it's a lot, but it's a lot for a reasonable price.That said, the paper is on the kind of thinner/coarse side, so it's not anything fancy like fountain pen friendly, definitely has a lightly grainy texture (toothsome kinda kraft papery almost), and the gsm stock so-so. I think I'd say it's like really light cardstock or heavy paper, heavier than resume paper. It's sturdy enough for use as flash cards or something you won't need long term, but maybe not the best for like recipe cards, they'd definitely suffer for any moisture or kitchen related chaos.I think on whole they're really solid if you need a ton of disposable cards without wasting too much stock. They're definitely coming in handy over here and my roommate is perfectly satisfied with them for his classes. Solid deal for the price.

These arrived exactly as expected - They're a good size, with plenty of room for writing, and they are nice and thick. This is a good price for a big economy pack of index cards. No bleed through or tearing, even when using markers.
