Installation was a breeze and I didn't even need to put the bike on the jack. One tip: before tightening the brackets prior to installation on the bike, turn the bracket over on a flat surface so you can properly align the bumper parallel to the bracket mounting. Then tighten the mounting brackets and install on the bike. This will prevent the bumper from being angled slightly up or down after installation.
