Steve of Steve’s rack shack, this is a cruel thing to do to sell this product to surfers. Terrible craftsmanship, pieces don’t fit, flimsy, will not securely hold your boards. Just don’t order this product, you’ll end up throwing more money away once you ding up your boards from the rack falling apart. Big red flag was that on their website there is a fairly large button linking you to their return policy which of course puts the burden of shipping the product right back on the customer. Hope this review helps some folks out and keeps them far away from this scam.

It's supposed to be very easy to assemble, but there is a defect in one piece of the wood that they forget to cut out one more layer, so it cannot be assembled. The return process is so complicated and I have to pay for the shipment and to ship it by myself. That is so frustrated!!!

Not really worth the money, it takes up a LOT of space and will only really hold typical shortboards. The fish I have were too wide, and barely fit.

Very well designed rack. Cheap but sturdy materials, assembly, while not easy, isn't difficult and the piece is very functional. I've since used command strip hooks and elastic bands to also tie the racks together and some really thick yoga mats at the bottom of the base. The arms don't have any cushioning but you can add grippy padding for chair feet which is better than any other applicable padding. I do wish that the rack did sit at more of an angle to let the boards rest better. Some of my more wider boards feel like they will tip over a bit with the addition of the straps, it's good enough.

Surf rack is awesome. I needed a rack that I didn’t need to drill into the wall and this surf rack did the job! Very sturdy, holds my 8’6” board really well as well as the short boards. Easy to assemble, put together in minuets and looks nice! I recommend this surf rack!

Assembly uses hinges that lock into place very easy to set up no screws or bolts. I would not use outside where there is wind. Great for my garage more sturdy than it looks. It is also compact and keeps boards off the ground. From left to right I have a fish, 7'0, 7'2 and 7'10. My tanker 9'4 is too big for the rack but I lay vertical behind the rack against the wall in a yoga mat like a taco. It worked out fantastic for me and takes up about half the space of my old wonky wall racks. Love that it stands alone. Would recommend.

Due to the pinche pandemic we are in a tiny rental while trying to find a house so boards have to be inside house for now. This rack looks great and was easy to assemble and will be easy to take apart and move when the time comes. 8ft board fits fine! Added some bungee cords in front and a little padding in the back of each slot. Super happy with purchase - seems a little overpriced for what it is but couldn't find anything better!

Product is as described in advertisement. Exactly what I was expecting. I thought I had an issue and customer service was excellent with prompt responses. I will probably attach little hooks with individual ropes for extra security of boards like you would see in a surf shop. Overall very satisfied with this product.
