I read other reviews before purchasing this item and my experience is similar to many of them.I am satisfied with the item because it is what I expected based on the reviews. The wood material used to construct the tank is thin and had some split damage even out of the package. The holes were not pre-drilled, and the instructions were backwards compared to the pieces. However, we were prepared for this and drilled our own holes and laid out all the pieces before assembly. The tank is enjoyable and our turtle seems to really like it. We like how easy it is to take out the pool and clean it. I wish the lid over the pool also had wire; we will probably change it ourselves, because that side is dark. If there was a more expensive option made from nicer materials and with greater care, I would buy it, because the design of the tank itself is nice.

I ended up returning this cage only after a month. I have an 8-year-old Russian Tortoise and he has never had injuries until putting him in this cage. I did hours of research trying to find him an option where he could have more running room and still access his water on the second story. However, my tortoise would always fall off the second floor and end up on his back. This happened several times, and when I was home I would run over to flip him back. One day I saw a little bit of fresh blood on his head and I knew I had to get rid of the cage.The cage is also very cheap and poorly built. He would rub on corners of the wood in the cage and they wore away after a couple of weeks. Also, with the bottom of the cage able to pull out to empty bedding, the bottom of the cage had space/a crack between it and the plastic wall. Because of this space/crack, the bedding chips would shove its way through the cracks and make a mess on the floor.Also, the walls of the cage are NOT glass, they are a very thin plastic. His nails scratched up the plastic almost immediately, making the cage look even cheaper.I’m really glad I kept his old glass cage and he is back to being safe in that one. I would not recommend this cage for any tortoise, let alone other animals.

Nice size for my hermanns. I expected better quality for what I paid. Glass was broke seems to be a common problem if you read the reviews. Boards cracked and split apart visible before putting together. It's nice to be able to see with the glass but spend your money elsewhere on something that's better made. This is cheap and broken on delivery. No way to contact seller. This is the second review Ive writing it probably won't show up. Doing 5 stats so they don't hide it like the other bad reviews.

Easy to assemble. The ramp screws came out after installation. Other than that it is good product. Going to need to get longer screws for ramp so doesn’t keep happening.

One of the acrylic windows was broken when I opened the package and some of the pieces did not have pre-drilled holes but I used a drill bit and it was fine. Overall kind of flimsy but it works other than the broken window.

This is such a cute enclosure and my tortoise loves it. It was super easy to put together if you have a good drill. I was able to put it together in less than 1 hour. Clean up is very easy too as the you can pull the bottom tray out and dump the substrate and wipe it down with a wet paper towel. My tortoise does not go in to the enclosed area but prefer to hide and sleep under the log. It is a good size, not too big, not too small for my 6 inch tortoise. Also, I was able to mount the uv light and heat lamp on the edge of the cage. I like that it comes with legs so that we didn't need to get a separate table to put it on.

This is seriously perfect!!!It was super easy to put together & I have 0 complaints with it. Its very sturdy. Great size. Provides plenty of protection. I like the option that it includes legs so it's not on the ground, but you have the option to take them off if you want. It also includes little "kickstands" on each side of the lid so it's easy to prop open while cleaning as well as the whole bottom slides out too.I love everything about it & the price point was even better! 😁
