It has been really hard finding black and white checkered bath towels so I was happy to give these a try for the price. I'm pleasantly surprised too. They're definitely black and white, not black and cream or charcoal and white so that's a huge plus. I knocked off one star because they are thin. These are not fluffy or plush but, from what I can tell, they're absorbent and I value that over plushness anyway so I'm happy.
