It seems like a decent scale.It came with instructions for setup, but none for operation.We have tried every button, watched the operation video we found online but no matter what we do it only weighs in KG.That said we will be able to use it but it's not what we hoped for.The tare feature is nice.The platform is large but a bit wobbly.The fact that you can use it plugged in or not is nice as well.

I ran my own business for some years. We only shipped out a few packages at first, but towards the end we were doing more and more. When we started having UPS and FedEx begin to pick up We figured it would save us both time and money. Much better than sending one of my guys to different locations a couple of times a week. I'm almost embarrisede to admit that we were using a bathroom scale to measure and weigh our packages.This scale is well constructed with a steel base. It is intended to hold up to years of usage. The display is mounted about 30 inches from the ground on a steel post. It has a metal face with metal buttons. It is easily read with a backlit display. at the touch of a button, you can switch from lbs. to km. It is easily calibrated and can be set to TAREIt will allow you to add the weight of additional items, and add the $$ amount to give a total price. Once you get used to every feature this will be both a money and time saver.

This unit arrived just as described in the ordering literature. It was quite easy to assemble with the provided instructions. The battery was about fifty percent charged upon arrival so I topped it off and put the scale to use almost immediately. I am using the scale to weigh out recycled circuit boards in my business. I harvest many components from end of life electronics and repurpose many of the components into steam punk or other abstract multimedia art pieces. the remainder we process for precious metal recovery. the scale is fast to weigh our totes that vary in size and weight from several ounces to two hundred pounds or more.

I owe Flyrivergo an apology! I have been looking at the box for too long, afraid to put it together and not making a timely review. When I first opened the box, it looked complicated and I saved the project for later. In reality it took five minutes, and they include a very nice magnetic Philips screwdriver to make things easier.You only need to unpack it, screw the scale part to the stand, open it up, and attach and plug in the power (mine was already charged, but it says you may need to charge it).Pro tip: put it together on your kitchen table or an elevated workbench. You need to get under the head to screw it to the stand. If you open it up first, and put it on the floor, it's very hard to do. I realized this too late. The top folds down easily though, should you also make this mistake,I tested the unit with a few different heavy and light items. It seems accurate with both light and heavy items. It has some functions for setting pricing and adding and removing items, I may not need them, but if my shipping needs change, it's nice to know it can do professional calculations and handle complicated fulfillment.

I picked this scale up for my small business, I do a fair amount of shipping from home, and sometimes the box is either just too large, or too heavy to measure on my smaller postal scale indoors. This works extremely nicely in those cases! Just set the box on the big platform, and read out your weight from the convenient display that's far enough above the platform that it doesn't get blocked by the box.So far, it has worked very nicely with every package I've weighed on it, and it is compact enough to not take up a huge amount of my shop's floor space!
