I really like this style lamp and already own a similar one. To my surprise this lamp only has springs on one side. I expected it to have four springs, two on each side, like every other articulating lamp out there. This appears to be a manufacturing defect, like they forgot to put springs on one side so decided to sell it cheaper.

Ok lamp, works as expected. Sale price reasonable, regular price somewhat excessive. Seller ran a sale on lamps they didn't have in stock (who does that??) and had to wait a month to receive. Would still order again if on sale

This is a bright light that brightens my sewing area. It attaches easily to my sewing table. it did take several weeks to arrive.

This lamp is used for illuminating the sewing area of my sewing machine. The manufacturer has executed the design perfectly. The lamp can be moved to any position for aid in illuminating the work area. Do not use "other" lamps designed and manufactured for purposes other than sewing machine illumination. I have struggled with "other" lamps trying to get them into the correct illuminating position, only to break or wear them out without satisfactory function. Buy this lamp.....

This is a just-installed review...I will update if there are problems. The light feels solid and industrial...I like it a lot. It does not flop around, it stays where I position it. I will probably order another one for my shop. The one I have is being used at my desk. I would like it more if the reflector was about twice its current diameter...the light is focused on a pretty small area. Also, it is odd that the fixture does not seem to be marked with a maximum bulb wattage.
