I’m not a hip hop fan or a big bass fanatic but when Old Town Road came on my car erupted into awesome clean bass and now I get it. I can’t say I have anything to compare this to but when powered by my infinity 700 watt amp it produces clean bass at ANY volume. Actually, the louder the better.

Its a pretty decent sub. Probably sounds better with the proper amp to push it, my old amp didnt like the low resistance and kept over heating.Make sure to keep stuff away from it though, my tool bag fell over and a screwdriver punched right through the cone because there is no grill

I had to sacrifice sound a bit, for a box smaller. The speaker is excellent for under $100 bucks. It is infinity.The box is small, but does not sacrifice too much resonance.The box also, is made of heavy material, resulting in less vibration in the car.It solves the problem of space and the sound is find, with a JBL 500 rms amp.

I bought this subwoofer mainly because it fits perfectly behind the back seats in the hatch of my Honda CRV, but It sounds even better right behind the drivers seat. I haven't completely decided which place I'm going to keep it.The Subwoofer sounds and works great.

I have this subwoofer powered by a 290watt mono class d amplifier. I am blown away by the power this thing is capable of. Keep in mind it is a smallish sealed enclosure. This provides tight, accurate bass that is plenty enough to shake the mirror and feel it in your chest. It is decent enough for rap music, but not ideal for long, drawn out bass notes (it can still manage this but just not as well as a ported enclosure). I have the bass knob dialed down much of the time.Update: after 6 weeks this sub is properly broken in. Significantly more bass. I'll need to turn it down some on the equalizer (lcq1). Very pleased with this. Still not ideal for rap, but great for all other genres.

This sub is great. Sounds Amazing!! I highly recommend. I bought 2. Unfortunately, the second one sent was opened box, and damaged. It had obviously fallen from a height and took an impact on the front edge. Discounts Jungle did everything they could to drag out the replacement process, including labeling the item as hazardous material, unable to be returned. I never got a replacement/refund/discount and Amazon was of zero help. Avoid Discounts Jungle.

This thing rocks. Considering I paid 105 bucks I am very happy and felt that I got a lot for my money. I am sure there is some bass head out there that would try to tell you this is trash or save up for something better. My opinion would not listen to that guy. I feel this product is an outstanding value and this 12 shakes my car ALOT. I paired this with a 5 Channel Soundstream amp and it pairs well. I say if you are on a budget and want something that rocks then this sub will do.Update: 2 years to the day later and it's still rocking. I still thinks it's a good value and bumps well. After two years I am say I feel I would like a bit more low end. Some songs I feel the bass is huge and others I feel it lacks. It hits tight and clean, great for rock music and most rap.

One has to note that a lot of the sound quality has to do with the quality of the amp. that's driving this little monster. Given that, I love this thing. Fit and finish is really good for the money; it would be really good for even more money. I paired it with a Rockford Fosgate amp. because the Fosgate actually goes down to 20 Hz., and has good options on the controls. I installed it on the upper deck of the trunk of my 2003 Marquis beside the spare tire, and it just fits there. I bought it to put a little punch to the sub and mid bass, and wow! I am impressed. I actually don't run much volume on the thing. My car is pretty smooth and quiet, so I only need about 50 W x 4 on the main speakers, so this is actually a bit much. Better to have too much and not need it... I highly recommend this product.
