I am so impressed. This is lighter weight than my existing camp mat (which has foam in part of it) and actually more comfortable! It's no pillowtop mattress, of course, but it's the best camp mat I've tried. I have not, yet gone camping with it, but I laid it out on my hardwood floor to try. It took me a minute and a half to inflate with the foot pump. You do have to cover the open foot pump valve with your foot while pumping (I had to read the instructions to figure that part out.) There's a valve at the pillow area that I think can be used to inflate the mat with a battery powered inflator if you prefer. It's also the valve you use to let the air back out. After lying on the mat for several minutes, I added more air. I'm assuming the material was stretching with initial use rather than having come with a leak. Speaking of which, it does come with a small patch you can use when/if needed.I'm a side sleeper, and neither my hip not shoulder bottomed out on this. I didn't bottom out until I put almost all my weight on one hip. That said, I weigh 115-120, so YMMV. The pillow section is adequate-I like a thicker pillow, but that's just my preference (I bring a separate inflatable pillow when camping).Putting the mat away was so much easier than I'm used to. I opened the pillow valve, smoothed out much of the air (maybe not necessary), stepped gently on the foot pump with its valve closed to flatten it, refolded it into thirds, and rolled it up from the foot. It took about as long to type this up as to actually do it--so easy! It actually went back to just about the size it shipped at just by doing that, but the cherry on top is that the storage sack is plenty oversized, so if you're sloppy/in a hurry, you'll still be able to get the mat back into its sack.I genuinely want to buy another one, but that's ridiculous to do! (Can only sleep on one.)

Very nice pad. Packs up quite small, comes with its own stuff sack, and a small patch kit.built in pump is pretty good. Be sure to use it barefoot or in stocking feet to get a feel for the pumping action, and to not damage or dirty up the mattress. Pump was able to inflate it fairly firmly.Photos make the mattress look narrower than it is -- that's because it's actually pretty darn long. I'm 5'11 and there's length to spare for me.Built in pillow is okay, but then, I've never seen one that is better than just "ok" on any inflatable mattress. To test this pad, I inflated it and have had approximately 80lb of weight evenly distributed over it for 36 hours, and it has maintained pressure. I don't think there's a lot of danger of waking up halfway through the night on a flat pad. Both sides are equipped with plastic snaps for joining multiple together. Neat feature, but in my experience makes for an uncomfortable night.Overall I'm really happy with this. packs down quite small. It's a little heavy if you're doing any serious backpacking, but for a weekender like me, it's perfectly cromulent.

Yeah OK, I'm very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this air mattress, I rate it as a "good value".(Note: 4 stars is a good review for me, I reserve 5 stars for the rare truly outstanding items.)Quality: This air mattress is not the same quality as the pro grade ones that cost hundreds of dollars, but I'm very pleased with the quality for the price (30 bucks when I ordered). I'm fairly large, 6' 220 lbs. I stood on it, sat down hard, rolled around... I do NOT think its going to pop during normal use. Seams are good and well sealed, material is a decent thickness, valves are solid and no leaks.Size: definitely big enough, even for me. I hate my short & narrow backpacking mats, this one is wide and long enough. Thickness is a good balance - it's not super thick, around the 3" they advertise, but that is thick enough that no part of me touched the ground when on my back or stomach. A little shoulder and hip touch when on my side, but not much. So I'd say its just about right.Inflating: I actually used my 2 hands, one on each side of the valve, and pushed down onto the floor. Worked nicely, no issues. Around 75 pumps, around 1 minute. Easy. Deflating was fast and easy too.Storage: Nice ripstop bag with enough extra space in that that I didnt have to fight to cram it in - perfect size IMO, not teeny tiny to cut costs or save a tiny bit of space.I'll be using this mat for car camping, not backpacking, so yeah, I'm really happy with it. Definitely a good value.

I backpack and am very particular about what I take that weighs more than 1 pound as I only carry 25lbs total on my trips. I was on the fence about this pad because of the 1.87lb weight, but I decided to order it because this pad is thicker and a little longer than the current pad I own- I'm so glad I ordered it! This pad is thicker material than the one I currently use, and the pump and seal is very good quality. The pump quickly inflated the pad- both using your foot or using your hand. If you have ever tried setting up camp in the pouring rain- then you know there isn't much room in a 1-person backpacking tent to maneuver- so being able to use your hand to press and pump up this pad is a benefit!I don't use any of the carry sacks that come with products to lighten my load- and removing the cover made this pad weigh closer to 1.30lbs- again, if you backpack- every ounce counts. It rolled up tight and the included strap kept the pad contained in my backpack for easy transport. I am a side sleeper, and this bore all my weight, and my hip didn't touch the ground all night providing a comfortable night's sleep. I'm really pleased with it, and like I said- I have very particular needs since I'm backpacking. There is no doubt it will be great car camping, for day trips, or even for my kids to take on sleepovers with their sleeping bags to friend's houses. It’s a very good value for the listed price.
