Ensure Proper Inflation:
Prepare for Inflation:
1. Trimming your dog's nails or Putting on Socks before fitting the inflatable dog cone can help prevent punctures caused by scratching, ensuring the cone stays intact and functional.
Opening the Valve:
2. Due to the collar's design, the inflation valve has a small cutout. To start airflow, pinch the base of the valve where the cutout is located, creating an opening that allows air to enter.
Inflate the Cone:
3. While pinching the valve, use the air pump included to inflate the collar. After a few breaths, test the dog cone by squeezing it gently. It should feel firm enough to maintain its shape but not too hard.
Seal the Valve:
4. Quickly cover the valve tightly to prevent air from escaping. Then, regularly check that the valve cover is securely closed to prevent the dog from accidentally opening the valve cover.
Warm Tips:
1. Some dogs might feel uneasy when first wearing an inflatable neck collar, so using treats as positive reinforcement can help them adjust. It’s important to monitor your pet while they’re wearing the Elizabethan collar, as they might attempt to remove or chew on it if left alone.
2. Please put the opening or the strap side at the back of your dog's neck in case of lick and bite the wound through the gap.
3. It is best to only inflate the inflatable dog cone by about 80%-90%, reducing putting too much pressure on the seams and leading to leakage.
4. Inflation and deflation: Pinch the air valve so you can deflate and inflate faster!
5. Use your pet's everyday collar to secure the cone in place.
6. For larger breeds with longer limbs, or breeds in between sizes, always choose a larger size.
7. Insert your fingers into the tightened area of the dog cone to check whether it is affecting the dog's breathing.
8. Do not approach something sharp.
9. Before using the dog donut collar for postoperative dogs, please trim your pet's nails or put on socks, as their nails may puncture the collar. If your pet tries to run away the first time they wear the collar, we hope you can help them adapt to it.

The inflatable design is brilliant. It's so much more comfortable for my dog compared to those rigid plastic cones. It doesn't put any pressure on their neck, and they seem to tolerate it much better. They can move around freely, eat, and drink without any issues. The watermelon pattern is super cute and adds a touch of fun. My pet looks adorable wearing it, and it definitely stands out. It's a nice change from the plain, boring collars out there.

When hot spots get too irritating, our smaller fur baby needs some help to let them heal. We've tried some different cone collars on him to see what will work best. The traditional cone collar works, but he can't see everything around himself, so he bumps into furniture, doors, and the back of my legs. When we tried an inflatable donut by itself, he got it off within minutes. This collar is different. It has the inflatable donut for his comfort and it has the (almost) clear cone part, so he can see where he's going and what's next to him. He kept this one on, and was even able to get into his favorite spot under an end table. The donut part has a removable cover so it can be washed, and the vinyl cone zips onto the donut fabric. Zipping it on took a couple of minutes, but once attached, the connection is solid. There's a strap that closes with Velcro on the open place of the donut, and Velcro on the vinyl in the same place - that means putting this on him is quick and easy, as is removing it. A hand pump is included to blow up the donut, so it saves a lot of breath. The price is quite reasonable for this combo donut/cone. We're very pleased with how well it's working.

I have to praise the design of this inflatable Elizabethan collar. The fruit patterns are novel and unique, with bright colors that don't fade, instantly giving pet supplies a high aesthetic value. The inflatable design is even more ingenious. It doesn't take up much space when being stored, and it's convenient to carry when going out. You can just stuff it into your bag. After putting it on my dog, it's very easy to adjust the size. It fits snugly around the neck without being too tight, which shows that the designer really understands the needs of pets. With this, I no longer have to worry about my dog's surgical wound getting infected.

Most importantly, make sure to measure and get the right size. If you do, it will fit perfectly. Ours did!! It is also so sticking cute. Our sweet puppers did not seem to mind it too much and was able to move around and rest comfortable once he adjusted to it. My only complaint is that our cone did crack about three days in. However, I believe this has more to do with my 6yo son and pup combo than the quality of the cone. They should not have been playing so roughly in the first place. Even with the crack, the cone still worked and did what we needed it to do. So I call it a win.

My senior dog has bad habit of chewing paws every morning so I put this on her to keep her safe. She has better vision than with others I’ve tried. Keeps her from chewing her back which the one with just inflatable neck didn’t do.
