This works great for repairing holes or punctures in air inflatable devices like mattresses, pool beds, and toys.Cost isn’t terrible by any means. Overall 4 stars

We used this product to patch a hole in a duffel bag. The inside of the duffel bag has a slick plastic lining of some type and the patch stuck firmly to that surface. The outer surface is a canvas like material and it did not stick there but we didn't think it would, we just wanted to try it. The adhesive tube has a needle like dispenser built in that allows for precise application and keeps the dispenser from plugging between uses. The hardest part is putting a weight on the patch for 24 hours. Depending on the contours of the patched area a C clamp and pads might be a better solution. Also be sure to put waxed paper over the patch so it doesn't stick to the weight or clamp.

I purchased it in order to repair a medium sized tear in an inflatable snow sled. Even though I followed the directions exactly, it did not work. The tear was sealed, but eventually air began to seep out.

This past holiday season we noticed our Christmas inflatable decor was slowly leaking air. This kit patches holes up super easily and we get use of our things for at least another season. My star ratings are based as follows:5⭐️ - love it, can’t live without it. Outstanding and amazing.4⭐️ - pretty great, no major flaws.3⭐️ - got some issues going on.2⭐️ - pretty flawed product.1⭐️ - don’t waste your time or money. Just not worth it.

I received this vinyl repair kit with the bubble remover, patch material and adhesive all in one small box. It looks like it would be easy enough to use except that the plastic patches were crimped so they somehow would need to be flattened out to use. I suspect that placing them in the sun or some other warm area would help with this, but I don't know as there is no "tip" in the instructions on how to get the material flat. If it's not flat, I don't see how it can seal. Other than that, assuming the adhesive works, this appears to be a reasonable repair kit.

I have a neato travel pillow that I made the mistake of letting the family cat play in. It was deflating after a day or 2 so it was sort of usable but I finally got tired of seeing it flat. The challenge was finding the pin prick hole.Tried listening for hissing sound but my tinnitus made that a non-starter.Tried the wet finger and back of the hand technique, nothing.Thought about squirting soapy water on it but I'd just have to rinse it off afterwards anyway so I just moved on to the bathtub technique. HINT: have a marker handy to mark the spot when you find it.Found the leak, marked it and then waited a couple days to be sure the pillow was fully dry. After I applied the glue and spread it with the included spreader, I realized I should have practiced with a throwaway piece. The trick I missed was covering the entire patch with a thin coat, not glopping a bunch in the middle and trusting the spreader to reach the edges. No way you're not going to have a little glue leak out the edges so don't worry about it. Better that than have an unglued edge (which I did)!Seems to be holding even though the pillow has a fuzzy soft texture. I'll update if it starts leaking.LOVE THAT SMELL, Brings back memories....

Picked up some water bags for use with holding down the winter pool cover. It was just a matter of time before the raccoons that visit at night would put a hole in one.Used this kit to mend a hole in one of the 8' long / heavy tubes. Kit comes with vinyl patches. Applied glue and secured the patch. In no hurry, so waited a day, and then refilled the tube with water. No leaking visible at this point. The patch (& glue) appears to have properly adhered well to the rubber / plastic material.Unlike air mattresses, you don't fill these water bags up completely, and virtually no pressure applied to the bags - which hopefully helps with the longevity of the patch. But it's cool, wet outside - with not a lot of direct sun this time of year, so I'll have to see how it holds up moving into spring and summer in CA.Time will tell, but my expectation is that moving forward, I will just be dealing with additional raccoon holes, and not repairing the previously patched holes.

This is exactly what I have been looking for to repair the pricier inflatables I have for my pool. I allow dogs to swim and play and the shiny, clear vinyl patches PLUS THE ADHESIVE are key to repairing not just punctures but small tears.I patched two rafts and a giant monstera leaf floaty with this .. it comes with a spreader so be sure to THINLY apply the adhesive and then set it on the flattened, deflated floaty and let it cure 24 hours before you inflate it. Go close to all the way to the edge of the patch and then press to make sure it goes all the way to each edge since the patch itself has no adhesive on its own. I won't know how well they hold up in the heat and wet of the summer months but I will update as I use this throughout the swimming season. So far this is far better than the small patches that come with the floats you buy; if nothing else the extra adhesive from the glue could be applied to those as well to give them extra adhesion.
