Your cart is empty.The Overhead 1130 Sweeter Heater is safe, energy efficient, indestructible, and reliable. This is an infrared radiant heater, intended to heat the animal underneath. Unless measuring heat with a radiant heat gun, a thermometer will only measure the heat that is released from the animal. It's not a space heater, nor does it get hot like one. Designed to hang, approximately 6-20 inches over the animals to be warmed. There are no hot spots, develops a uniform heat pattern, and has a 3-year warranty. The surface temperature of the lens will range from a safe 160-180 degrees (F) and will not burn your animals. It is designed to warm the animal, not the environment and is fully adjustable to maintain the ideal comfort level for your animals. For additional safety measures, the Sweeter Heater has an internal snap action thermal control to insure heaters turns off automatically when heat is not allowed to escape. The 11x30 model has up to 330 square inches of soft uniform infrared heat and if using for brooding chicks, we suggest 20-50 chicks will fit comfortably (also dependent upon environmental factors). Sweeter Heaters are ideal for use in chick brooders, chicken coops, whelping areas, kennel runs, farrowing units, dog and cat houses/crates, rabbits, bees, goat kidding, and bird and reptile cages. The SWEETER HEATER develops a uniform heat pattern, it uses less power to operate, it is unbreakable, it is sealed so it can be washed.

I Got this to replace my old red heat bulb for my chickens for the winter they have an old bus stop made into a coop so its not wide but is tall, i might get another for the other side for all the other chickens ti sit under as all the top hens took it over,it keeps them warm if they're directly under it but i don't think it helps warm the coop.

Love this radiant heater for my chickens. It’s safe and practical and we now have three of them keeping our ladies warm on these cold winter nights.

Got this for a negative 30 degree cold snap and tbh I didn’t expect much. But to my pleasant surprise my hens love it. I thought they would be afraid of it since there wasn’t a very long adjustment period of them having something hanging over the roost bar but they had no issues. Works great! Highly recommended if you live in an area where below zero temperatures are pretty common.
