These are good solid mounts. I've had a few up for six years that have held up very well, and just added a few more.This is important: If mounting on drywall and not a stud, throw away the split plastic wall anchors that come with. Never use those. Go get yourself some of those plastic self drilling drywall anchors, (Zip-It is a good brand).

Excellent product. Durable, looks great, does the job well, easy install. Might want to use your own screws as the ones provided are a tad small/short.

Seen these in store and 40% cheaper on Amazon. These are great! Way heavier and beefier than anyone other wall hangar I have seen and picked up. Ribbed rubber 'holds" guitar in place. Flat black which looks way better than the crappy wood ones that most have. I have 4 of these. Please use wall studs though and never hang a guitar in sheetrock even with a good anchor. Unless you are hanging Fenders or Taylors, then use whatever you want :)

Over the years I have bought about a dozen of these hangers. They are very sturdy, will hold a heavy guitar and if I remember correctly, I believe the rating is for 35 lbs. I normally use a 12x2 inch screw and attach to the studs, however I have also used a wall anchor (the type that screws and expands behind the drywall) where a stud was not available and it held a strat and acoustic. The hanger swivels and will hold anything from a V, Explorer or Strat to an acoustic.

I used thh supplied anchors and they started pulling out of the drywall within a day. I ended up buying some better anchors that are rated at 90 lbs and am very happy. Not sure if any of the more expensive ones come with better hardware and if my need to purchase better anchors makes my purchase more expensice than those but the hanger itself is very thick and strong. I've had them up for over a year now and no problems.

Easy to install, and they work great. My only complaint is that, if you go straight into drywall using the included gizmos, they aren't flush with the wall. Since they're up high, I guess I don't really care that much. But it'd be nice.
