Constructed of surgical cotton gauze, the Injen filter element comes precisely oiled to maintain consistent airflow and prevent obstructions to the intake system. Each filter is specifically chosen for every application, as the dimensions, pleat and flow rate are highly crucial to optimal performance gains. Each injen filter has a built in velocity stack that aids in speeding up and straightening airflow.

I got this for my Scion 1.5L. It has an Injen intake and it fit perfect. The old one was deteriorating but it was original 2006, so I guess it lived awhile, Lol. I paired this with a cheap filter sock and it's been a night and day difference. I bought a "Used -like new" and it didn't disappoint!

I'm new to Injen products as I was used to AEM for my import cars. Injen definitely has some innovative products. Now, this filter looks like any other filter but when I received it, it's heavy and the quality really shows. I don't have to oil it and there's two versions. A taller 2.75 inch version and this one. I installed this on a 2006 Scion and I believe either will fit. I was careful and removed my battery and lines for a good seal on the intake piping. Next time, I feel good enough to unscrew it from the bottom and just slide on the old one.

Used as a replacement for the same part. Installed on an Injen intake in an 2001 MR2 Spyder. Works as expected.
