Kit looked good, but It had been opened and re stapled shut. It was missing the velcro, 4 of the screws and bolts and all the spacers. Pretty disappointing.

Everything comes together perfectly. This chassis is specifically designed for the Bronco. I just followed the stock photo as a reference to put it together. Just make sure the smaller cross bar goes to the front and the slightly longer one goes to the back (under the esc plate.) I reused almost all the hardware/ mounts that came off the previous chassis except for the esc mount which is replaced by a plate. The bumpers and body mount were no issue either. I mounted the bumpers using the far left and far right holes on the plastic bumper mount. Final test was conquering the impossible steep couch pillow. Needless to say it climbed with minimal effort and that in itself was worth the money and time spent on the upgrade.

This is for the bronco specific frame, the holes are not spaced properly to work with the bronco body tried multiple mounts and even the ir60 kit and it all comes down to the holes. Checked against frame rail and measured. Definitely a fail for injora which is a shame because the frame itself is beautifulEdit: injora reached out and made right on their side for the mixup.

It’s a nice product that worked really well. The Bronco version looses a lot of front shock mount options because of the cutout, which really sucks tbh. I wanted to lean the shocks back just a bit more but the option is just gone.As for fitment, it does work. I only had to trim the little clip circled in red on one of the photos. Bumpers went on without any issue either. You gain *a lot* of room for the steering servo to move, which is a major benefit. In my pic of the steering servo, that’s full flex using Injora 59mm shocks.Definitely make sure you get some lock tight in the bolts/nuts that combine the two halves of the frame. They do not have nylocks for some reason…there appears to be room for a nylock but it doesn’t come with them. One big downside is that you need to have two tools to remove the shocks. A lot more tedious to remove them for maintenance than the stock shock towers but I guess you get the benefit of more shock mounting positions. Trade offs.

I only just installed this the other night, but the install is pretty straightforward and the fit is nearly perfect. I found I had to snip the tiny little ziptie eyelet on the inside of the Bronco body in order for the front to snap down, which lead me to realize that I could have used the normal (Defender) version of this chassis rail and modified my Bronco slightly more, and it would probably have worked (snip the whole cross member across the front/inside of the body)There's two holes for screws at each of the four end pieces, so I used the tiniest drill bit I didn't know I had to make additional holes in the Traxxas bumpers, so that each bumper is secured with four screws total instead of just two. This greatly improves rigidity and the screws that are needed are all included. The photos don't show these holes being used. Doing this enabled me to use the rear spacer more equidistant from each place it's sammiched against plastic chunks, adding more stiffness without adding more spacers. The frame rails are THIN. If you're like me and pretty much just use this thing to honk around the inside of your house (standard gearing, Injora 48T motor) at a moderately brisk speed, one must use extra caution to avoid collisions with doors, walls, etc as it's entirely likely that a full-force blow at just the wrong angle could crack the carbon fibre frame!Rigidity? Yeah sure it's a little better. Yeah it's a little lighter, too. Lower CG? Sure. Mostly this lets me play with shock angles and positions and costs less or the same than a shock tower that would bolt up to the factory frame, and who doesn't like the look of CF!? I find that once everything is all tightened down, the frame has a slight bow that goes in and out and it's EVER SO SLIGHTLY OFF from left to right in terms of distance from key areas on the chassis.... but if you were to multiply these distances all by 18, they do indeed add up. I don't know if this is a "competition grade" product. There's enough clearance so that if you mount your shocks with the screws going from the outside in, and nuts on the inside, you don't need to take out your receiver each time you go to re-mount your shocks (if you're using the factory RX/ESC).Use loctite. Don't over tighten. The radio tray is pretty cool too. The use of the included trimmed down velcro, with the addition of a single slender ziptie gives me factory-esque stability of the OE ESC/RX combo unit (can't wait till someone figures out how to control the light kit using a generic radio!) until I decide to go brushless. It'll give you something to do for about an hour which is all anyone can really ask for. Take a tinsy bit of weight off the top and add a great deal of weight to the bottom... that's all we're trying to do here.
