Our quick connectors are made of Polypropylene,It adopts Push to connect technology, which allows users to connect and disconnect quick and easy without the need of any other tools. Ball valve gives full flow and positive shut off without leakage. Valve act is 90 degrees, full on to full off, with no seepage.It fits standard 1/4 inch OD plastic RO tubing, Copper, CPVC, PEX and PVC pipe or hose.
Where to use it?
Applications include RODI system,Irrigation System, refrigerator ice maker tubing, coffee machine etc. This quick connect fitting is are perfect for hooking up a kitchen water supply , it isolate water line without shutting off all the cold water to the kitchen. It will save you lots of work getting to replace your in-line water filter without having to turn the water off in the basement or under the sink.You can also use it to run the RO System to the fridge ice maker.
How to use it?
Just pop in your 1/4 inch OD tubing into either end, pushing until it won't go in. To remove, just push in the outer circle on either end and pull right out. For water filter on stand alone ice maker. These valves make it easy to turn off water supply to filter. Also, the valve on the "out" line allows me to bleed the air out before reconnecting to the ice maker.

Bought these to control the water flow to an ice machine I have beside my refrigerator. They were simple to install. Installed one before water filter and after water filter to give me flexibility to easily change out the water filter or clean out the ice machine.My water line has a lot of pressure which these valves are handling fine with no leaks.

They work well on icemaker tubing and other hard tubing. I bought them to run a network of oxygen tubing through my home due to having Last Stage COPD, so that I didn't have to drag 50' oxygen lines behind me and have folks stepping on them. They will fit the lines but pull out with almost no resistance at all, so I couldn't use them.. Maybe this should be listed with the description so that others know. Still a good product though.

Extremely easy to use and nearly foolproof.We had a split in our refrigerator's water line. I bought a full kit to replace it, but the kit was missing pieces so I returned it and bought this instead. I ended up cutting out the split area and, since there was extra tubing there, joined the remaining line with this connector.Insert tube into one side, slide the c ring into place to hold it. Repeat on the other side. Turn water back on and turn valve to open. Other than dropping one of the rings under my oven, it was entirely painless. 3 minutes to install, and that included figuring out how to use it and running to the basement to turn on the water.No leaks, and it's held perfectly for the last 2 months. Recommended!
