I have purchased 2 high end INNOMAX hardside mattresses (the manufacturer of the Genesis brand). They claim to offer a 20 year warranty on their mattresses, but the warranty is prorated, a fact that they don't reveal until after you have purchased the mattress. And the warranty basically is a joke once you try to use it. The problems we have had with the matresses is that after a few years the baffles and foam layers inside the mattress start to shift and move around which results in soft areas with no support and other areas where the mattress is very firm. This should not happen, the inner baffles and pads should stay secured for the life of the mattress, but they don't. Our current mattress was only about 4 years old when the issue started. I would not recommend this company.

My new mattress is everything my old mattress never was..no waves..sides and tops flat. Thick top material.. support equal to or better than any new mattress in a box products. Great product

I've been sleeping on waterbed mattresses for 30+ years and this is by far the best. I was debating between 4 or 5 stars (would have been 4.5 if that was an option). The reason for less than 5 stars is: the mattress is not quite waveless but close. Maybe there is no such thing as completely waveless. Also, a minor point but my feet can feel the fill valve in certain positions - something I did not experience with my last two mattresses. I do get a much better night's sleep on this mattress compared to previous mattresses, which is the most important thing.

My wife and I have been sleeping on water beds since the '70's. This is harder than any conventional bed I have slept on since then. WTF? Where was the warning? This was the top of the line waterbed mattress for this company????? Saw nothing indicating that it would be a rock filled with water.

this thing is unlike any water bed ive been in. so much so that it doesnt feel like a water bed. more like a gel bed? its almost surreal. and kind of hard to move in at first until you are used to it. it just conforms to you and supports you all over and absorbs pressure. which is great for sleeping until you're trying to crawl out of it in the morning.was easy to put in. my only concern is it still smells like this nasty plastic stuff. pretty sure im allergic to it when the sheet pops off and im touching the rubber bit.if i could go back and get a different one i would have got one level or two down in the waveless department because this thing is truly WAVELESS. the wave doesnt even make it halfway across the bed.

This mattress is truly an engineering marvel designed to deliver firm comfort and a superior sleep environment. The construction and thickness of the mattress is excellent. My wife and I find our quality of sleep dramatically improved over our old mattress... we look forward to our sleep time. This mattress comes highly recommended and worth the investment.

We have had this for a few weeks now. the support lining inside the mattress has somehow come loose from the mattress walls and is bunched up at the head of the mattress. The mattress feels like it's mushroomed out when my husband and i both are laying in the bed. We tried letting some of the water out thinking this would help but it hasn't. not sure what to do at this point. I can't imagine having to drain this and send it back. We were aware when we purchased the item that it was repackaged. Not sure if this had anything to do with our current problem or not. The mattress was not "used" when we recvd it though. before this occured that mattress was very comfortable.

I was previously owned an older waveless Sterling mattress. I really love this InnoMax mattress. It completely fills up the waterbed, even the corners. It is very firm and totally waveless. Really surprised how firm it is. It kind of molds to your body. I bought it refurbished and was in perfect condition. Was surprised how light it was compared to my Sterling before filled it up and thought there was no way it was going to be very firm after filling. Almost sent it back before using but to my surprise after it filled up it was very stable and firm. Highly recommend this mattress.
