The brass head of the mallet fell of within the first day of use. Poor quality. I'm hoping they will send me a replacement.

Well these exactly what I wanted, exactly what I needed. For that, I would give them 5 stars and recommend them.Description, Just under 15" total length, stick is 5/16" thick. The brass tips are about 1/2 long x 5/8" wide. They feel firm yet light weight. Nice.2 problems:1)In the picture and description it does not say or indicate a pair it only shows one. I ordered 2 and received 2 pairs (quantity of 4 mallets). Double what I wanted to pay and now have an extra set.2)One of them was in fact defective, the stick was tapered (cut) too thin and the brass piece was just loose in the bag. (this should have been seen by the shipper) If you try to put it back on, it was completely loose and wobbling. Clearly wrong fit. I fixed this by pressing on the brass piece on to the opposite side of the stick. (Not sure why Amazon allows video but no pictures, or I would have posted the pic)

Great for playing on bells... have a good, clear sound. These are sturdy mallets, should last a long time. Thanks!
