The adapter I received was clearly purchased by someone else before because the box was beat up and taped together and the adapter had dirt marks on it. It also was broken! I verified against a working adapter I already owned. Clearly the seller received a defective adapter as a return and still sent it back out to me looking disgusting.

I got this because I have no internet. And I tried hooking this up to my TV and my phone to watch movies from my phone on my TV. I hooked it up correctly. Even a friend tried to because I thought maybe I didn't do it right 🙄. Nope. It didn't work.And if you look on the back of the box it self. 😡 It clearly states what it's for! Technically computers! You need like Windows 10 🙄 and so on.This company miss leads people into thinking this will work on their TVs.😕 I actually hate writing bad reviews. But I've been trying different things to use to watch movies from my phone on my TV and I REALLY thought this would work.And I HAD to give this 1 star 🙄 to post this.

Bought for my brother in law, he said it works perfectly as it should and doesnt randomly cut out the signal like his old one did. Picture quality and sound transfer is excellent as well.

Bought it from Bestbuy for $40 !!! I need to ask for a price match. Anyways, it worked fine with 1080P monitor and 2016 Apple MBP (15'). Seems similar quality compared to apple OEM products.
