Low cost? yes. Low quality? no. Surprisingly these micrometers are some of the best vernier mics i've used. Easily compared to top brands such as Starrett & Mitutoyo. These have a great feel in the hands and ratchet feedback is superb. Smooth uninterrupted movement from 1.0 - 2.0". Accurate & precise and no adjustment needed out of the box(calibrated dead on 1.0000"). I really like the box included. Durable plastic with nice hinge/latch. Great lab/shop floor working mics. Would recommend.
