These are not rub on transfers. They require water to use them. Also, be sure to cut them very close for best results. They are very nice when used as directed.

These are really pretty and the good news is they stick really easily so you don’t need to spend a lot of time transferring. However, the adhesive is so sticky it pulls the paint off my projects. I have to try to go in and repair the paint after I use them, and I can never quite get the paint matched so that’s frustrating. Other than that they’re very nice.

Oh no no no no no. I have used many rub on products. I like the effect they have. I was using this new product (new purchase) to make some snail mail for Easter gathering thank yous. I have never used a rub on which behaved like this before, but THIS product has the image on a clear sheet (standard) which is SO STICKY (definitely abnormal) that it adhered to my (already decorated with multiple postage stamps, which are now…. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) envelope. It has shredded the envelope as I tried to remove it. Completely shredded it.I liked some of the images. Some were useful—enough that I had decided to keep the package. A bunch are sort of elderly looking—more like the manufacturer perceives Christian images through a lens of 1960s country. Still, some were good enough, some very pretty. The fact that they appear to be unusable without either destroying the substrate (thin envelope, in my case) or having to cut out every little intricate doodad makes them unworthy.Another point is they are very, very…solid. Erm. That’s not quite the right word. They are very opaque. I guess I am accustomed to rub ons which are slightly less dominant, blending into artwork instead of BECOMING the artwork, if that makes sense.I would originally have liked to give these more stars, but now I am annoyed at how much time and postage I wasted today getting this ready. Super grateful that it was a plain-Jane white envelope. That is unusual for my mail. It warns me that HAD I used my more common craft papers, the printed top would have been completely removed. Just…ugh.Blowing a raspberry and making a return form. Pronto.Proceed with caution.
