It is amazing what you can achieve with these little action cameras. I was a big fan of the Insta360 ONE R/RS range and used a BackBone conversion which allowed me to use vintage lenses to achieve an almost analogue cinematic look. When I bought an Ace Pro, I was blown away by the low-light footage I was getting, and used to soften my footage using a Black Mist filter on the camera and then reworking it in post to soften it even further.When I saw that the Ace Pro 2 could shoot in I-Log, I didn’t hesitate to buy one. Of course there were more upgrades such as adding timecode, additional sensors etc. but this was the upgrade that spoke to me. I do love to colour grade and being able to shoot in this flat profile allows me much more control in post-production than previous profiles.Last week I was shooting in London with my DSLR and had the Ace Pro 2 mounted on the cold shoe on top of my camera. Not only was I able to get some B-Roll of my actual shoot but it also captured some cracking stills, which I took using voice control.Of course, straight out of the box and using auto settings, the results are fantastic but push it a little further and this little camera punches way above its weight – highly, highly recommended!!

En lo que respecta a las cámaras de acción de lente única, la Insta360 Ace Pro 2 es un equipo extraordinario, realmente ofrece características y calidad brillantes.Ventajas:- Excelente rendimiento con poca luz- La cubierta contra el viento ofrece un audio claro al andar en bicicleta de montaña- Pantalla abatibleContras:- Las imágenes en 8K ocupan grandes cantidades de memoria- Sin almacenamiento interno incorporado- PesadoLa nueva cámara Insta360 Ace Pro 2 es ideal por ejemplo para ciclismo de montaña. La cámara funciona excepcionalmente bien en entornos con poca luz, como en tramos de senderos con sombra de árboles. Me sorprendió que las imágenes que grabó al atardecer fueran tan buenas para la poca luz disponible. La estabilización que ofrece es excelente pero solo en la configuración alta. Pasé por tramos con raíces, baches al frenar e incluso hice algunos saltos, y la cámara mantuvo la grabación estable. El audio es excepcional, especialmente con la nueva protección contra el viento que han integrado en el diseño. Hay mucho menos ruido de viento en las imágenes, lo que permite captar mejor los sonidos de los neumáticos, el buje trasero y el entorno. El micrófono capta las voces con claridad, así que si te gusta hablar con tu público mientras montas, esta función será una de tus favoritas. Incluso puedes aislar tu voz en la aplicación Insta360 para que solo se escuche tu voz.

As a small camera, this is a good device when judged by the image quality it produces.But operating it in the cold, or outdoors in challenging conditions is a real kludge. The menu system is poorly organized and difficult to impossible to use with gloves. A full rewrite of the menu system would make it much better.Very dissapointing to have such an expensive thing come without a fully usable standard mount or 1/4-20 hole. Very agressive data collection from the manufacturer, with precise location required to register.While it got pretty warm and drained a lot of battery just getting setup, the stabilizaion and color look far better than expected. There are a lot of color modes to get a nice, natural image right out of the box, or to go more vivid. Low light is also very impressive. For me, the thing itself seems good, but the slap in the face of having to go order more stuff and wait, just to use it, puts it to a one star for me. But I raised it because the image looks good.From what I see of the mounting system, thousands of these things will be smashed by the roadside or lost in a river. There is no place to loop a cable through it. Getting one of those "surround style" mounts might help that, but it just gets heavier and more expensive. Maybe I'll just use some wire as a safety. Thing sure is heavy.After spending more $$$ and fuddling around trying to get a 1/4-20 system for it that is not like a dagwood sandwich of $$$ adapters that add leverage to the camera, I'm getting it worked out -- but I'm editing my rating to a single star now. Why? The all-metal "quick release" adapter is flimsey, and proprietary. Low profile adapters from other manufacterers fit, but they have some play in them. A little vibration is often enough to make something break in time. There is no excuse for not having a 1/4-20 adapter for this heavy little camera. Also, the lack of a sturdy passthrough for a lanyard is a very serious flaw. Each new adapter, required due to flawed design, adds more weight and cost.The bluetooth remote has a range of about 40 feet inside the house, which is about the same as the low-security wifi range. The app, from what I can see, does not allow a blue-tooth-only connection to the device.

So far So good! Simple, good quality, both with the physical camera, and especially with the video, all formats, 1080, 2.7k, 4k, and now 8k. Well built, and I love the flip up screen, audio is really good. The included wind screen attachment is well engineered and does a great job to quiet the wind and other noises. Overall, you can't go wrong. I strongly recommend, especially for that beginner, or young videographer, simple yet lots of settings and options.

Meets almost all your needs for action camera or any camera. Only lacking may be on close up shots. Very intuitive, practical and easy to use. Use in conjunction with phone. All you need for travel.

Very happy with this so far. Battery life is advertised as lasting a long time but when recording at standard 4k you only get a bit over an hour which is similar to other cameras. What sets this one apart is the low light capability and the pivoting screen.

This camera is solid AF. I have already dropped it with no issues, cracks, dents. Glad I got insurance but dont need it yet. besides that. This camera is a workhorse. Lightweight so its super easy to carry around and pop out when I want to use it. (Lens cover is a must) I have put this battery to the the test and its lasted almost a whole day at 4K with turning it on and of for specific things. I love the 2x optical zoom at 4k using the 8k chip. I haven't used 8k much yet except for utilizing the 2x zoom. Love the pure video mode Feature. For night and low light shots its been great. I live in Chicago where its cloudy and dark often through the year. So having an easy to access camera that still pulls its weight at night is great. Besides the rain we get I dont use it around water too much. But will update if I put the waterproof capabilities to the test. The mounting on this camera is solid too. I feel so secure when its locked in. I will get some photos and a video up soon. Just slow to it, but wanted to leavea review before I forgot. Fun camera for seriously any adventure.

La trovo eccezionale, puoi andare dal grandangolo al medio tele e settare tutto anche in manuale che io amo. Riprendere in manuale e tutto facilmente settabili è fantastico, anche se in automatico è comunque molto buona ma avendo io sempre lavorato in manuale con le macchine fotografiche allora poter settare i tempi di otturazione, gli iso ed il bilanciamento del bianco in manuale, è tutto ciò che io chiedevo ad una Action cam ed ora finalmente sono stato accontentato.

I mounted on the a chin mount on my helmet and it takes amazing video. The battery lasts about an hour, so I would suggest buying extra if you want more than one hour of recording time.

おそらくハズレを引きました。使用1回目にして故障。しかし、カスタマーサービスの返答も早く、補償もしっかりしていました。すぐに新しいものが送られてきました。あまり期待はしていなかった8Kですが、そのクオリティには驚きました。どこまで拡大しても鮮明に写っています。この小さいカメラにこの性能が詰まっていてこの値段は安いと思います。

My bf surprised me with this camera! It's super cute, small, easy to use, takes great quality photos, and videos only thing that's disappointing wish it had a flash on it but other than that it's a great camera to have!
