Good size. It has enough capacity to steam a large head of broccoli or cauliflower. Easy to remove from pot due to the generous sized handle.

We were not sure how well this steamer basket would fit in our instant pot but decided to give it a try since the description does say it fits a 6-quart instant pot. We were pleased to find the basket fit very well and can hold a good amount.Our main concern is how the plastic silicone handle and bottoms would hope up under the high heat of the pressure cooker. We are not sure if the plastic would leach into the food, so we shall see if other reviewers have tried it in the instant pot.So far we have used it as a strainer/colander to strain pastas/noodles/fruits/veggies. It holds a lot and like the stainless steel for strainer hot liquids.

This is a handy size for straining water out of pasta and many other uses due to the fine mesh. I like how the handle will stay where you pivot and set it, and that the mesh is the right amount of stiffness that makes it flexible but difficult to collapse.The seller claims it can also be used as a steamer; I would feel more confident using it for this if the seller provided more assurances and clarification that the feet are high temperature silicone (and the max temp they are rated at) that can safely sit on the floor of a cookpot on a heating element/flame without melting.The seller would also do well to correct the spelling and grammar errors in their listing title.The strainer is 5.25“ tall and 8.25” wide at the top rim.Overall an attractive and versatile design with solid implementation. Should seller confirm high temp silicone feet, I would recommend

The steamer mesh arrived in great packaging and looks exactly as described on the website. I tested it with my 6-quart Instant Pot, and it fits perfectly. The only concern I have is the plastic cover parts, as I’m not sure how safe they are for high-pressure cooking. However, this shouldn’t be a big issue if I remove the plastic parts.

I use the steamer basket in my stockpot and rice cooker to cook veggies noodles. It's very easy and convenient to lift the basket off with the handles and rinse off the noodles with the sink faucet.

This instant pot mesh basket fit perfectly in my 6-quart All Clad pressure cooker. I had a steamer basket that came with my pressure cooker, but it was a little on the small side. This basket will hold a lot more food. It is 4 ½” from the inside bottom to the top rim of the basket. The top measures 8 ¼” from rim to rim. The feet are covered in rubber so they will not mark up the bottom of your pressure cooker insert. The handle on the basket also has a rubber coating on it so you do not have to use a potholder to pull it out. The basket itself has edges that go straight down and do not taper in so you get the full use of the size of the basket; there is no space wasted in it. This mesh basket can also do double duty in your kitchen for those jobs that you need a smaller strainer for.

One of my favorite instant pot accessories because it's so versatile. I can do eggs, veggies and i even put a whole rump roast in it and it made it so easy to take out of the juices to slice. Total game changer for me, my experience instant pot cooking is way better
