Was complaining to my sister that I have never ever found a method that works for peeling hard-boiled eggs. It's like cheap airfares, only a wishful dream. She said I use an insta-pot and I never ever have a problem. I bought it. So far I have done 24 eggs on three different occasions and every egg came out perfect with little effort. Seven minutes and into an ice bath for 30 minutes. It could not be easier. I have also done pork chops and they came out perfect. This is a must-have if you like deviled eggs.

I ordered this instant pot (a great product) to be sent to my differently abled, 80-year old brother's in Denver, so I could open the package and help him with meals when I arrived at his place traveling from my home in Albuquerque during a recent visit.Upon receipt of the package, ( a brown box with no other packing), I opened it up and discovered a very damaged Instant Pot Box swathed in packing tape with an equally damaged, crushed Instant Pot inside.Sure I can return it, but I had to drag this insultingly damaged pot back to Albuquerque in my car (400 miles). Why abuse the customer by sending damaged goods that you know to be faulty and forcing me to go through the disappointment and trouble of having to return the package? The sticker on the package saying thanks for giving this product new life expresses the bitter irony and disappointment accompanying and poisoning this exchange.I've done business with Amazon for many years. This was the worst.

I had several friends urge me to get one of these over the years and finally did. It's basically just a fancy pressure cooker but is more useful than a regular one. The heating element on sauteing for example is absolutely perfect - a very uniformed cooking surface. But once I got it, what to do with it?! I've made an amazing roast and tried to do steak chili (which was okay). Beyond that, what on Earth does one need to pressure cook though?? HeheheI'm keeping it and hoping to expand on what it can do but recipes vary widely and reviewers results leave me wondering how much of a gimmick this really is in the end. Shrug!

Great tool, use it almost every day. I make tea by the gallon, spaghetti & sauce, soups, chili, stew. There are hundreds, thousands?, of recipes online, you will not lack to find a use for it. I am so confidant in its usefulness that I bought one for my son and his girlfriend. Go for the 6-quart, most recipes are written for it. Also get spare gaskets, they're cheap, because the silicone holds odors (I'm looking at you onions) and I did not like my iced-tea tasting like stew. Get a silicone trivet, the metal one that comes with the IP is limiting. Also a glass lid is very useful for covering after cooking, better than the pressure lid and I use the glass lid for just about everything I make in the IP; I have yet to use the silicone lid I bought months ago.

I bought one of these for my mother about two years ago, my aunt borrowed it and kept it for a solid month. So then I bought my aunt one. I borrowed it and didn’t want to give it back... so I bought my household one too!3 InstantPots and almost two years later and we still absolutely LOVE IT.The size is perfect for 2 - 6 people I’ve noticed. It all depends on how much you put in there.WHY DO I LOVE IT SO?It cuts my cooking time in half or a quarter on crockpot dishes, it allows me to cook fresh beans, I’ve made the best salmon in there and you can literally cook anything! It’s easier to come home from work at 5:30, get my ingredients in there, leave it cooking and go shower, clean up, set the table and have a full dinner by 6:30 without having to keep an eye on the stove or leave a crock pot going all day when I’m not home.

Great kitchen appliance that lets you combine multiple appliances in just one. It's easy to pick up using it as there are some differences cooking with it. I love how it shortened cooking time making food tender, moist, and delicious. I've used it for multiple meals and even making triple berry jam and apple butter. Great little tool to make cooking fun again.

Love the product. That said, be careful on recipes. They are hit and miss. I bought a instapot book and the recipes were poor at best. The book had 500 recipes, don't get it.

I bought mine through Amazon Warehouse, refurbished. It was just like new!I used it yesterday to make hard boiled eggs. I Cup water in the basket for 14 minutes on low. Immediately put them in a cold water bath. So easy and they turned out perfect! My youngest daughter got one at Christmas. She has made fabulous meals in hers, and was telling me how good and easy it is. She sent me recipes that she has made and her family loved them!I can’t wait to make a whole meal in mine using her recipes she got online!Beans cook in 40 minutes! No soaking needed. If you don’t have one you are missing out!I also bought the 4 year warranty 😉Buy it!
