This is an excellent OEM quality Intake/Exhaust solenoid for your Mini Cooper! Material and craftsmanship used in manufacturing is near identical to the original Mini part at 1/10 of the dealership price!! Installation is fairly simple for the mildly mechanically inclined- installed with only a single 10mm or #30 Torx bolt depending on the year and model of your Mini. Fitment is flawless and the included and installed rubber o ring seals perfectly into the engine firmly with no leaks. Functionality is exactly the same as the original factory component. It provides the proper oil pressure and lubrication amount to your engines VANOS system, an integral component in keeping your Mini running like new. This is a great choice for your Mini needs and it performs exactly the same as the dealer part at a very significant savings. I am so pleased with the part I received that I purchased a second to replace both the intake and exhaust solenoids on our Mini's engine.
