I decided to replace the intake manifold on my 2009 GTI during a water pump job after noticing that the intake flaps on the existing manifold were closing too far (the old manifold was from URO). I also cleaned the intake valves and injectors and replaced the injector seals while I was in there. This manifold was identical to the one that came off the car and everything lined up and sealed perfectly. I’m willing to bet that all of these are coming out of the same factory. Everything is as it should be and fits/works perfectly. For the person who got the CEL, no way it was because of the manifold. There are numerous things involved that could lead to a CEL. There are at least ten electrical connectors involved, several hoses and the injector seals which should be replaced. I somehow managed to put it all together having forgotten the coolant temp sensor connector, which unfortunately required me to remove the manifold a second time, but that was totally on me. Also, these are notorious for stripping the intake bolt holes (which is in the aluminum cylinder head, not the manifold itself). This did happen to me. The original bolts are too short and only grab a few threads. I replaced the bad one with a longer M6x1.0x65mm bolts which worked perfectly. Be careful, take your time and triple check everything so you don’t do extra work like I did!

This intake manifold was installed by my mechanic and immediately caused a check engine light and codes p2016 and p0015. I should have known this part was too cheap to be any good. Save yourself the expense of having to install the intake manifold twice and do not buy cheap parts from this seller.

Todo bien ,solo ajustar unas abrazaderas plásticas que agarran el riel de inyectores lo demás perfecto.
