My daughter is 7 and weighs 57lbs. She's muscular but slim. The size small was super tight and the elastic cut into her calves. They fit more like leggings than pants. Her teammate, who is a little more slender, has the same pair and they fit her better. My daughter likes the stretchiness but also says they're hot (though I assume that's true of most softball pants).

Ordered these pants knowing that what is available at our brick and mortar sports stores look like MC hammer pants on most the girls in the 6U range. These arrived and where everything we expected and more. The fit was perfect, the band was flexible, the drawstrings where easy to adjust and the material is very well made. Will definitely be ordering these pants again. My daughter loves them!
