Get this if your dog loves bully sticks! My 12 lb pup loves it and can grip her treats better without me worrying about her swallowing the ends and choking.

My big dog has a big one and I always held the little guys treat. No more. My pup is ten pounds and this is prefect for him to hold his treats. It’s adjustable and sturdy material, price is right, and it screws tight to hold the treat, super easy to use and easy for the pup to hold while he enjoys his treat!! Has a bit of weight, just right so it’s not flimsy at all!! We give it two paws up! 🐾

The small works well for my 10 pound dog and while I was suspicious of the plastic threads it hold the bully stick very securely. These holders are a must, especially for a small dog as they can choke on the small ends of the bully sticks as they chew them down. I'd much rather throw away an inch or so than see my dog choke.

Mon chien est un masticateur professionnel, malheureusement, il veut aussi avaler la fin de ses bâtonnets tout rond. J’ai donc acheté ceci afin d’éviter une urgence vétérinaire pour obstruction intestinale. J’ai été surprise de la tenue de cet objet. Mon chien n’arrive pas à sortir le petit bout restant et je peux donc le retirer et le jeter.

Plastic item, but the screw seems sturdy enough to hold small bully stick tightly and safely.Looks durable, but time will tell.

This does the job - I don't think it is meant for the skinny bully sticks. I get the thicker ones and when you put it in there, there is a lever that you screw in to tighten the bully stick. I try to wiggle the bully stick just to make sure it is in there good and tight before giving this to my dog. They love it and it is a life saver. I had a dog choke once on part of a chew and will now only give bully sticks (occasionally) to my dogs with a holder. This holder works well for a smaller dog - maybe under 25 lbs. If they finish the bully stick I find the small nub is still securely in the holder and they will chew on the holder itself. I have a few bite marks on mine but it holds up well.

We are using this with our mini poodle puppy as a bully stick holder (and other treats). It works great! He is not able to pull the bully stick out of the holder and now the fear I have of him choking on the small end of the bully stick or other treats is gone. It does make it easier for him to hold the bully stick, so that does mean he finishes it faster than before.. but that's ok, safety is more important. I am very happy with this product and o think he is too.

My dogs like these holders. One is a tripod so it helps him to hold the bully stick. Also, most importantly, it makes it safer to give my two dogs bully sticks. I was concerned about the final small pieces. This solves that problem. I bought another style which works well also.Edit on 3/13/25: I changed my 5-star review to 3 stars. This holder did not stack up well against the other one I got. The material on this one isn’t as smooth and gets scratched easily. Then hair and dirt stick to it which makes it disgusting. Cleaning it helps but it just gets icky after being used.

I have been worried about my puppy swallowing the last bit of a chew stick whole and choking. This is an amazing gadget that holds the chew firmly in place with the added benefit that my pup can hold thinner chews upright by placing a paw on each side of the holder. It won't hold her wide yak chews but is great for chew sticks and the holder can accommodate quite thick chews. Very easy to wash. I always supervise when she has chews but big pieces can be swallowed very quickly so I feel I am definitely keeping her as safe as I can.

Takes away all the worry of your dog (puppy in my case), swallowing the end of a pizzle stick and choking. Just before I received this she swallowed a 1.5 inch bit of pizzle stick (I couldn't get it off her) and I had the worry about whether it would come out the other end or cause an obstruction. Fortunately all was well. Holds the pizzle stick really firmly and you can then take it away when it gets down to the last bit. Held in the same way as a vice. A fabulous product. Given me piece of mind. Pizzle sticks are great for keeping a puppy/dog occupied for a while.
