I just received my hooks. So I haven't used them, but they are very pretty. Everything in the picture was in my order. My package arrived early! The case is very nice as well as the scissors. I'm looking forward to trying them.

First off, I am so grateful to the reviewer that mentioned filing the threads!! Every head fit flush and perfectly except the 6mm that barely screwed on. I was so disappointed at the thought of sending these back so without really having a clue what I was doing I grabbed a nail file and success! I gave a couple of these a trial run given some of the discouraging comments and I love them! The weight of the handle is very nice and I don’t mind an inline hook or more of a point because I’m a tight crocheter and so it helps me get right in between stitches with ease. I could see these not being ideal for less experienced “hookers” but this will be my go to now! It’s also worth mentioning that the case is much nicer than expected. Highly recommended and don’t be discouraged by threads that don’t line up perfectly. Grab your nail file and wear those threads down a tiny bit at a time. I probably fit it ten times because you obviously don’t want to take them too far.

These are pretty good. They’re very pointy so they will split certain yarns .The threads on some of the attachments don’t screw in properly, but with a little bit of sanding like a nail buffer helps them to fit in nicely.

I am not new to crochet, but am still a beginner. That being said, my favorite hook has been the metal Furls hook, this set is like having nine Furls hooks in one package. The quality is excellent and the join is super smooth with all of the hooks in my set.The hooks are ergonomic and feel very comfortable in my hand (they warm nicely), with the awesome functionality of this set I wish there was another handle.

I had a semi-negative review after a few projects with this kit. I have now updated my review to reflect a 5-star rating.The main gripe I have is the hooks are very sharp. I see that as an issue for some users, so be mindful to this.I've used these hooks on 4wt nylon and bulky chenille so far, and in both cases, the precision factor of those sharp hooks has made the projects smoother. The handle is fairly ergonomic, but I still contend the "infinite roll" outcome of the hook on a flat surface is dangerous, so user beware! The precision though basically allows you to have very consistent stitchwork, so these hooks are actually very intentional and useful, but still risky.The case is useful, but the material feels kinda fake soft. The case isn't the main feature, but it is very much a part of the experience. It will impress many, for me it feels strange and trying too hard.Several users noted issues with screwing in various hooks. I can't speak to every unit made, but I can confirm all my hooks screwed into the handle fluidly and flush. If yours do not, I'd get back with the vendor/Amazon. I was able to confirm perfect fits for all hooks.I did have problems with the hooks loosening during my projects. But I've since made sure to carefully tighten a bit more than I'd figure, and that seems to have resolved the issue.I'm pretty happy with what this kit offers. But I am still a little cautious around the fact the unit is heavy and physics is an enemy here if you don't have a permanent resting situation. This thing will roll endlessly if not secured. Be very mindful of that fact + the sharpness of the hooks.Other than that, I think it was designed for dedicated crafters who wanted a more precise outcome.

I found the overall idea of interchangeable hooks interesting. I mean, ok, hooks can be stored more of a compact manner like this, but otherwise there is not much more convenience I can think of. The style of the hooks is also interesting, they are thick throat, inlay, pointy, the style one usually sees on long Tunisian crochet hooks or bamboo hooks. So while I appreciate for the innovative effort, I think, this set wasn't designed with every day crocheters in mind. My other gritty is the weight of the handle - I'm sure there are yarn artists that prefer a heavy hook. I'm not one of them. Heavy handles fatigue my hands very fast, also, without a well defined thumb rest, the hook tends to roll around in my hand. Even though, it should be a breeze to crochet with these hook, I found myself to drop my stitches very often.That's said, this set is beautiful! Careful polish on the hook heads, it feels, the hooks slide into the stitches on their own. The size of each hook is engraved into the bottom of the base, they won't fade, or disappear with use. The hooks lock in the handle without a gap! The supplied accessories are also made with care, they look luxurious, work great.I would love this set; great value, beautiful, quality hooks and accessories and pouch, but I just found some aspects of it awkward and uncomfortable.
