This is a nice low cost gun. It works great and has plenty of leverage for ease of use. Most caulk guns have a slot in the frame for cutting off the caulk tube nozzle, this gun does not have one. I never use that feature anyway so I don't think that is a big deal. Another feature most guns have is a long pin for piercing the internal seal of the caulk tube. That is a feature I do use and this gun does not have that. Not a huge deal but it is an inconvenience. Had I noticed it before I would have bought a different gun. With that said,. I'm still rating it high because it is a very nice gun for the price.

I had one of those older metal ones and my hand was cramping - in he middle of my palm. This trigger is so easy and smooth to use. If you do a lot of caulking, you should definitely consider this gun.

I bought this caulking gun to complete several caulking jobs around my house including multiple windows, a tile shower and some wood finishing work. I finally decided to buy a dripless gun since the other 3 guns I own all ooze like crazy when you stop squeezing the handle. I figured that a dripless gun would make the job quicker, easier and cheaper since I wouldn't waste as much caulk. I actually looked forward to trying it out. Sadly I was disappointed in the performance of this gun when it was put to the test. Although it has a great feel in the hand, is easy to use and oozed less than my other guns it still oozed some caulk when the handle was released requiring a manual pull back of the rod to try to stop it. That isn't the way a dripless gun is supposed to work.If this was not marketed as a dripless gun I would happily recommend it and give it 5 stars because it is lightweight, sensitive and is a joy to use. Unfortunately it was sold as a dripless gun which it absolutely is not so I cannot recommend this product.
