the posts do have some rust, but they are still holding up well. the pool did get a few pin-hole leaks, but they are easy to fix with some pool cement. kids LOVE it. Great for 4 to 12 year olds. We are using a salt-water system and are very happy with it.

We have enjoyed the pool, and set up went smooth. However, the pump had a leak. We lose water slowly, a couple of inches a day, have to refill and creates mud around pump. I have emailed, for response, did what was ask. First was to submit order number and call the given number. I did just that after being on hold for 35 minutes, then to be told I had to upload the receipt on their form call last 45 minutes and then was hung up on me. Tried to upload, not possible on their form, another call and 25 minute wait. Again, had to load, I could just email the receipt, consumer service couldn't tell me how to up load it, 45minute call. I called again the next day just to pay for the parts myself. I explained my problem again, after 25 minutes, I just paid for the parts myself $16, including postage. I was told a supervisor would call me between 2 and 5 days, I laughed. Still have yet to receive a call. Poor customer service, I hope sixteen dollars was worth losing a customer over. I will not be purchasing Intex in the future.

A bit hard to put together, but it was done by myself and my 12 year old son in about 4 hours. Sturdy pool that will last for hours of fun. Some of the connections don't fit together correctly so I've had to spend some time and extra money exchanging parts, which took some air out of my sails. Set up with saltwater sand filtration system. Overall pool project cost about 1000, but was well worth it.

When you buy a new pool from them you have to cross your fingers that there are no defects in it.First, the cover was defective but, after calling them with pictures of the problem in our hands, they answered that we had to send them a piece of the cover by regular mail letting the pool totally uncovered for a couple of weeks. So we decided to call amazon customer service and, as always, they have been more than great as they sent us a new cover even if the problem was not for something wrong on their side. After about one month the pool started to leak due to a bad junction between 2 parts of the liner and, always very politely, we called again the Intex customer service because no patch was included in the pool. They told us that in the 300 bucks bundle that we bought no patch was included and they did not offer us any help for something caused by a defective product. The only option (again) was only to cut a piece of the pool liner, send it to them by regular mail and wait... as we didn’t want to throw away thousands gallons of water and to wait for weeks for a replacement during the summer time, we decided to try to repair the pool by ourself. We definitely think that they always ask to send them something by regular mail because they are fully aware that this is something not so easy to do or something that can cause you some kind of additional troubles. This, in our opinion, is clearly a sign that they don’t care at all about their customer satisfaction. We enjoyed the pool till the end of the summer and, of course, we will never buy another Intex pool again in the future as we think that with this kind of products, a company should take care more of its customers to gain some kind of loyalty from them.

Ok, so package arrived on time, with no damage.Took about 3 hours total with 2 of us. Went up fairly quickly, but let me tell you, your ground had better be level, or else getting those little white clips into the elbow and brace supports will be absolute hell.Ladder is flimsy at best, and super narrow. Does the trick tho.Pro tip: the build instructions to the ladder come on a massive piece of cardboard in ladder box. Booklet instructions are garbage and just frustrating. If you are going to purchase one of these pools, i recommend it. I also recommend purchasing a sand filter pump additionally because you can go ahead and toss the one it comes with right in the trash. It hardly works anyway. Save yourself the trouble.I suggest buying some ph rise and ph low, chlorine tabs, a test kit and a ton of shock. You will need all of these. This is seriously, the best money i have ever spent. Has held up better than i thought even with some unavoidable sharp roots, and would purchase another without hesitation. Have fun!

Pool was received as described. Easy to setup and get into operation. Purchased a larger pump at the same time (2,500 gpm) and I am glad I did. Cover does not stay on in windy conditions. Worth the price and pleased with the purchase.

I'm now on my second season with an Intex 15' x 42" pool.I consider them disposable at this price point. In the fall, I just donate the supports and liner to the first scavenger that wants them.I bought a nice cover and the bigger Intex pump, so keep both of those, along with the ladder (end up with an extra ladder every year).Anyhow, my kid and the neighborhood kids beat on this one all last year and didn't hurt it at all. As I type this, there's six of them in there right now, trying their hardest to destroy it. It holds up.I'm new to pools, this is my second season ever. My only advice is to make sure your ground is as hard and level as possible. Not because the pool can't tolerate a bit of sag or lean, but because the liner is made up of a 1" checker pattern. So if the pool is an inch low on one side, you'll see it every single time you look because that last row of checks is exposed. Good in that it quickly shows you how level it is, bad in that you'll see it immediately every time.
