Literally tightened the girth and went to attach lines and the stitching on one of the rings completely came apart. Didn't even get to use it. Wasn't even attached to my horse for 3minutes.

Said it would fit a pony. I put it in the last holes on both sides still to big . I would recommend it for larger horse but not ponies .

I like the girth on this surcingle better than most. It’s padded & wont slide. The only thing I wish it had was more of a separation of left & right on the top over the withers.

I love the look of it when I first received it, it seemed to be well made but I used this for the first time and after 15 minutes one of the rings where pulled off by my horse with very little force. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who has a young horse or a horse that is hard on things. My horse isn't either of these and it broke.

I was concerned that this surcingle would look cheap because it's not made out of leather, but it actually looks pretty good (better than the photo). It's well made and heavy-duty. I tried another surcingle that turned out to be too small for my 16.3 HH thoroughbred, but this one fits easily.
