Made of light substance possibly aluminum. This came apart before I had a chance to install it! No, I would not recommend this product to any serious minded horse person. What waste of money.

I took a chance on this product because the pictures didn’t really help in the scription wasn’t great. I was very pleased when it came to dirty still quality paint. Nicely placed pre-drilled holes for mounting. Great width on the curved metal for bridals, ropes, and halters.

I am putting in a new tack room and searched the internet for something black, simple and modern, sturdy, metal vs plastic /plasticy covered metal, and smooth/solid area for the headstall to rest on and I'm happy I found these. I like how 5 are mounted to one bar, making it easy to hang.

I finally got the bridle rack installed and I love it! The item is heavy duty steel and strong enough to hold 5 halters and lead ropes! I can now keep my halters and lead ropes untangled and organized in my alleyway, instead of hanging on the horses stalls where they pull the lead ropes into their stalls and attempt to pull their halters through the bars. I would have given it 5 stars, except the mounting holes were not aligned with my 16" on center barn studs. I had to paint a 1x6 and mount the board, then the rack, which took a bit longer. However, it actually looks better mounted this way!
