With a freezer-style bottle attached to the lid, I just fill it up with water, put it in the freezer overnight and all day long it keeps my worms fresh and cool. The bedding that comes with it is easy to use and easy to dig through to find the nightcrawlers. It will hold quite a lot of worms, I put about 200 in it without over crowding and it satisfied my excursion with friends on my pontoon boat for the whole day, It was about 92 that day and at the end of the day, the freezer pack was mostly water, the worm bedding felt cool and the worms that were left were still frisky.

This big box is really great and the Moss that comes with it kept my worms fresh and alive for up to 6 months. Would buy again.

Only issue was the ice pack attached to the lid that couldn't be removed. It interfered with pre packaged worm containers. I revived it and glued the top to the lid. Worked way better for storing worms on the boat then and I could add my own ice packs
