I've owned many infinitis from g35xs to my fx35. VQHR is the best motor produced by infiniti to date. Practically bullet proof. I walk on 3.7 as if they were 2 different cars. Race inspired 5 speed in the G is far superior to the new 7 speed. ( I own both) With that being said I paired the Gemini cat back with kinetic high flow cats. It sounds like a race car!!! Wife hates it but good for me....LMOA. She prefers the G anyway so through default the FX is mine. 2011 FX35 with the 303 hp VQHR. The overall rear reveal is sleek and Factory looking with a little larger rear baffles. Is stays plum and true to the lines of the rear. Doesn't stick out too far, doesn't look bipolar. My mechanic did have to fabricate the exhaust it was not cut and dry. And It had nothing to do with my catalytic converters they were perfect. Not sure if they sent me one that was compatible to an all-wheel drive FX. There's still alot that Amazon has to work on their site it's far from perfect. There is a fair amount of drone that may be for my hi flow cats. If you drive the vehicle in manual mode shifting through the gears the Drone is controllable and sounds fairly decent. Driving in automatic 7-speed mode it's quite annoying and I'm hot rod motor head Junkie. The constant shifting of the 7-speed negates a performance sound and appears to be as if you have a broken muffler from inside the cabin. I might remove the high-flow cats to see if that makes it better. If you want a little bit of a horsepower sound delete resonators for a hundred bucks. If you want to sound like a race car on the track this exhaust and high-flow cats are for you.

As usual I probably over-researched this purchase, but this was a pretty pricey investment for me. In my last vehicles I threw on a flowmaster for a hundred bucks or so. I did not have any chance to hear these 'live', just on internet videos. Installation could not have been easier on my 2010 fx-35. No fabrication or runs to the auto parts store, everything fit well. And I am very very happy with the sound and performance. An fx is kind of a sleeper, it actually has a Z engine and 7 speed auto, and it sounds great with this exhaust! You can take off very mild and the exhaust note is louder than stock but does not attract attention, and there is a great mild 'rumble' when cruising. But if you get on it the exhaust sounds more like a V8 than a V6. It 's fun watching the surprised looks on peoples faces (usually in my rear view mirror).

Bought this for my 2010 FX35. Really great sound. My son likes it because it doesn't sound like a "rice rocket", sounds more like American Hot Rod.Installation was easy, exact bolt on with no problems. All parts you need are included. You should go online and look for instructions as there were a couple of areas where following what someone else did helped a lot. Takes about 2 hours and two people. We did it using a single car jack, but it would be much easier on a lift or car stands. Only tricky areas are the hangers and rubber in the middle of the car, that's where the pictures and hints from another owner helped.Really looks factory plus. All stainless steel all the way, so it will outlast the car. It is loud on acceleration, but fairly quiet when you are cruising at speed. Wife didn't object to the sound, so it rates very high on the WAS (wife acceptance scale).
