I first tried these cups with warm sake at a Japanese steakhouse. The fresh cypress wood aroma really enhanced the flavor of the sake, and I bought a set. When the cups arrived, I found that they also work perfectly for Japanese whiskeys like Kamiki.

I must have not read the description well enough, because these are the tiniest cups I’ve seen for sake. It’s big enough for one gulp, maybe a large sip. From the pictures they seem normal sized, slightly larger even. But when they arrived, they felt so flimsy and light and looked like a baby tea set from Walmart. The quality didn’t do it for me, I can’t serve these to anyone. Just can’t take these seriously, I might return them.
