It fit a 35# bag of dog food plus a little more ~5# more. The wheels didn't fit correctly, some seated all the way, some didn't, it's functional and hasn't tipped over but it wobbles. The lid's lock works.

I underestimated how much stuff this would hold.I adopted a cat back in January. In preparation, i started buying his bed, toys, and litter stuff. I didnt wanna deal with a barrel/box of litter potentially leaving litter dust and specs everywhere. So i got this. I forgot litter is categorized as weight, not volume. So when I got 38lbs of litter, i thought it would fill this up completely. It only filled it up about halfway.Later, i got Tofu litter and started mixing it with my clay litter. The space was sufficient for me to keep the tofu litter bag inside. The scent of the litter is sealed inside. I cant smell anything unless i open it. Once i close it, the scent goes away immediately.I would definitely recommend this for food as it has shown that it would keep it fresh.

I had to try a few different ones before I finally found this one. It’s the only one big enough to hold the whole bag of my golden retrievers dog food. This bag is 25 lb of kibble that lasts us about 3 months. I heard putting the whole bag in was better so you don’t scratch the plastic and get it in the food. This is perfect!

I have two large, active dogs and each one eats twice a day so I go through a lot of dog food. A 35 lb. bag lasts a couple of weeks, tops. I got really sick of fighting with a giant bag of dog food. The food starts to get stale and the dogs start to get picky about eating it. The bag slumps over or, even worse, falls over and spills. It attracts bugs. You get the idea.I gambled on this thinking it would probably self-destruct the first time I poured 35 lbs. of kibble into it. I'm glad to say that I was wrong. As soon as I got it I washed it out to make sure there was no residue from the molding process that would give the food a strange odor or taste. After drying it I installed the wheels and poured a full bag of food into it. No problems at all.I've had this for almost 2 years now. It still seals tightly and I can't tell you how many bags of food have gone through. The plastic has held up absolutely fine-- not a crack anywhere, which surprises me because I'm not gentle with it when I dump the food in. I perch the bag on the top lip of the open container and use a utility knife to cut a flap into the bottom of it. The food dumps out in a couple of seconds and I don't have to try to shake around to get it to empty out.The wheels roll around easily even with a full bag of food in it, which is nice because I have to move it around to sweep or mop. My only minor complaint is that the casters at the bottom are stem-mount and there's not enough of a friction fit to keep them from falling out if you pick up the bin. But since I hardly ever to that, it's not a problem.A bag of Kirkland dog food from Costco fills this bin with about an inch of room to spare, so if you're tempted to buy a 50 lb. bag you won't be able to dump the whole thing in. That's not a problem for me, and this bin has made storing my dog food something that I don't have to think about, which is exactly how it should be.

I bought the smaller version before this one but it unfortunately didn't fit everything. This size however, fits a 25LB of kibble comfortably. The seal is made of foam so it isn't super sturdy but it gets the job done and can be easily replaced. The wheels are a fantastic addition, only thing I would say is if you have hardwood floors, there's a chance it may dig into them. If you can get it on a good sale then it's definitely worth the purchase!

I’m not typically a review writer, but I bought one of these, and when it arrived it was shattered, and with it, my heart. I requested a new one, and THE NEXT DAY my new container was delivered! I was worried I’d just get another broken one, since the first one was just in a box, but the second one had been bubble wrapped. Super impressed that they made sure I got my replacement in good shape! Also, free bubble wrap!As for the container itself, we got it to hold spare cat litter. My biggest concerns were if it would hold up to all the litter and if I’d have to forgo the wheels because we have carpet. This little dude doesn’t care how much he’s holding or how plush the carpet he’s on is. Sides stay sturdy and I, a weakling, can push and pull it across the room to various litter boxes with grace and ease. The lid doesn’t stay open on its own, which is a little annoying, but not a big deal with what I’m using it for. I imagine with time it’ll loosen up a little and might be more independent in that aspect eventually.The only real downside is that it makes the litter staticky, but I can’t imagine too many people are buying storage tubs for their litter (my cat eats cardboard it isn’t my fault) so that’s probably not something the general population needs to fear.

As I bake my own bread, I go through a lot of flour buying it in the 20Kg (~45lb) bags. I've been looking for a rolling flour bin for a while, and finally decided I'd give this a try. It works well, but has difficulty going over small rises such as from linoleum to laminate flooring. As this is rated for pet food, I just put the bagged flour into the bin. When I have about 2Kg left, I put a new bag under the old, to use up the old first.This has been a great addition to my kitchen! I no longer have to lift those heavy bags.

I have been humming and hawing about kibble containers for such a long time. I decided on this one because of the wheels. I purchased two of them, one for cat food and one for dog food. I have a very small pantry and these two containers fit side by side beautifully. The locks may not 'click' shut but as long as the containers keep whatever bugs out I'll be very happy. I just pull out the one I need and then slide it back into the cupboard. They are compact, high, so they hold a lot of food....really happy with this purchase. I don't have these big bags of food that I used to struggle with, and as you know, some bags have no closures and the ones that do don't work half the time anyway.
