Was looking for a small capacity pressure cooker and went with this one instead of the popular brand in part because a great warehouse deal was available. I've been really impressed. It looks cute but most importantly it works flawlessly especially when compared to the name brand one. The control screen is helpful and makes it easy to cycle through the options, although now I use it in manual mode. The materials, particularly the pressure valve and internal sealing gasket seem to be better quality than the name brand. I would have preferred a stainless steel bowl instead of the non stick coated one provided. Maybe non stick works better for the other advertised uses, but the competitor comes has stainless steel as an option.I found the capacity to be just right for 1-2 persons and a little leftovers. The large size from the competitor is just way too big when cooking for one. I would have liked more options to fine tune the settings, like the settings jump in 10 minute increments after maybe 30 minutes. I found it easy enough to end the cycle early during cooldown mode if I think I might need to repressurize it for an additional 5 minutes. Lastly, it is quite easy to clean.Definitely worth considering if you can get it at the right price.

Great device for the apartment dwelling! Very compact and surprisingly capable, this can do a great variety of jobs and cleaning is as simple as it gets. I use it more often than I would have thought when buying it.

I’ve been using the IRIS USA 3 Qt. 8-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker for a full year now, and yes—it’s still holding strong and still earning its spot on my counter.Let’s start with the size. This thing is compact enough to live in my small kitchen without hogging space, yet big enough to cook legit meals for one to three people. I’ve made everything from chili and lentils to steamed veggies and creamy rice. And it never once felt like I was working with a toy.The pre-programmed recipes? Still my favorite feature. I don’t have to Google cook times or guess how long something needs to pressure cook. I just scroll through, hit a button, and go do literally anything else. Laundry? Yup. Phone call? Sure. Nap? Been there. It takes care of the timing and pressure while I live my life. One thing I didn’t expect when I first got it—but love now—is how energy efficient it is. When I use the pressure cook function, it finishes the job quickly and uses much less electricity than my stovetop or oven. Over time, I’ve definitely noticed it’s helped cut back on both my cooking time and my utility bills ⚡️💸The non-stick pot inside is easy to clean and still holding up after a year. I always use silicone utensils to keep it in good shape. It hasn’t stained, scratched, or held onto weird smells, which is kind of amazing considering how many curries and soups it’s been through. Now yes, there are a couple of little quirks. The slow cook function doesn’t get quite as hot as a dedicated slow cooker, so I mostly use pressure cook or steam modes instead. And if you’re cooking for a crowd, you might feel a bit limited with the 3-quart size. For me though? It’s been perfect. The build is mostly plastic, so it doesn’t have that high-end metal finish look. But it’s lightweight, easy to move around, and after one year, everything still works just as well as the day I got it. No cracks, no glitches, no weird smells. If you’re someone who wants home-cooked food with minimal effort, or you’re trying to keep your electric bill from going through the roof, this is the kitchen buddy you didn’t know you needed.

The name says "USA", the manual says "Japan". The box says, "made in China". All the menus are very cumbersome and illogical, as you can expect. It says 110 recipes, but practically all of them are useless. Almost every recipe includes pork (Jews and Muslims be warned). Almost all "vegan/vegetarian" recipes include some kind of meat. The one recipe with fish includes pork as well. So, this is a device for manual cooking: you set up pressure, temperature, time. How do you figure all this out? It is up to you. There are much cheaper multicooker with the same features.Still, I do not return it. I bought it for slow cooking in a tightly closed pot, and this is it. One feature I used already is "waterless cooking". It works perfectly (potato with Mayo without water). It keeps correct temperature during slow cooking. So, it works for me.I bought it "used". Feels, like nobody used it, just opened the box and returned it.

The unit is the perfect size for a small family or single people. Also looks great on the shelf compared to other brands on the market. The only issue I've seen is that the Teflon coating is pretty bad. It has already started chipping off after only using it a couple of times. I'll try and get a replacement inner bowl. But really disappointed having to deal with this issue.Happy with rest of the features and functionality. Works exactly as expected.

There are over 110 pre-programmed menu. Very amazing that I have so emny options to try out. Not only pressure cooking, but also slow cooking, sear cooking, fermentation,,, I like how compact it is. So easy to control the menu. This pressure cooker is different from the other cookers in terms of design, function, quality, user friendliness, and recipe offer.

This product does not allow for usage of the automated recipes, the temperature always flags as “too high” and the device shuts off. This is unacceptable and I never had this issue with the cheaper smart pressure cookers. I do not recommend this product. Another reviewer reported this same issue.

I like the multicooker except that the auto cook functions (tried white rice and Japanese curry) always seem to have error saying that the temperature is too high, and will stop cooking.
