I'm embarrassed to say how long I lived with and struggled with a tabletop ironing board. Don't get me wrong...I made it work. But I always dreaded setting it up and using it. I wasn't even in the market for a replacement when I ordered this one, but man am I glad I did. It was ready to go, straight out of the box, and I couldn't wait to try it out. Having the items that you're ironing at the proper level makes an absolute world of difference. It really does save my back and arms. And the extra length that I gained over my old board has made ironing large garments so much easier. Now, I can't say that I'm a huge fan of the built-in iron rest, but it's there for those that need it. I'm just entirely too accident prone to place my iron on my board when I'm moving things around on it. So, I set my board up near a table and use the table to rest my iron. It works out great for me. The legs are very stable and also extremely simple to collapse when you're finished. My board goes onto a hanger on the back of my laundry room door, and it's ready to go the next time I need it. I really should have ordered one of these a lot sooner.

Needed a new ironing board to accommodate my new Panasonic cordless iron. This is perfect! The iron base fits well on the attached platform. Highly recommend!

Overall very good. It's a bit shorter than what I wanted...but still OK. I like the sturdy legs and the overall width.
