Not a direct fit to my 12yr old harbor freight air hose reel. Just marked and drilled holes and hung it. It seemed to hard to swivel to me when I got it out of the box and started playing with it. Once you actually get a heavy air hose reel hanging off of it, you realize it was made right.

Stout construction that will serve my purpose. Although advertised as universal I had to drill additional holes to mount my hose reels. Some of the new holes overlapped the existing holes. Would almost be better if offered without reel mounting holes.

I have a 100' open air hose reel in my shop, but may times need to use at different angles. Although this mount was not designed for my brand and model of reel, it work great. All that was required was adding bolt holes to match up.Make sure the swivel is mounted completely level so the reel will stay in the position you chose. In my case, shims were required due to the angle mount of the column we chose for a mounting location.Heavy duty and I am sure it will last a long time.

None of the holes matched the holes on a Black Bull 100 ft hose reel.I had to drill 4 holes on the hose reel base to match the 4 looking oblong holes on this bracket. So the word universal is not quite correct to describe.I wish the manufacturer will include a compatibility chart of the hose reels from different manufacturers that will match with this bracket. It is a solid bracket.It held my hose reel firmly.I also like the swivel function, it has a very silky smooth motion.This bracket was very well packaged and boxed.I was surprised about the size, it was larger than I expected.I thought it was the size of my clenched fist judging from the pictures on Amazon.It was pleasantly bigger in size than I expected. I highly recommend it.Note:Amazon has the pictures rotated 15 degrees clockwise!

I was a little skeptical about this bracket as being too small or too thin to hold anything. Boy, was I wrong!!! This is very heavy, with thick steel (about 1/8" thick), and much larger than I thought! Fit and finish is PERFECT with a very nice powder-coat black glossy finish. This thing could hold 10X the weight of a loaded hose reel, IF the mounting structure was strong enough. This bracket will NOT be the weak link in the hose reel-mounting scenario. This thing is so 'BOSS' that I'm thinking about buying another one for some future 'wall-swiveling' project!!! FORGET LOOKING! Get this jewel and you will not be disappointed!!!May 30, 2020 Update; I now have FOUR of these; I use them for air compressor hose line reels, 50 amp 110 volt electric cables for our RV, and heavy duty 110v extension cord reels. I LOVE 'EM!!! Well worth the bucks and you will not be disappointed!!!
