Irwin makes great tools. These are simple and good. Irwin has a reasonable and fair price for this item. And brass is the best material to make them from.

Good for laying out stair risers. Smaller than some more expensive options but for the few times that I will use it and the good price, it is perfect. They tighten securely and allow for quick setup for each step.
