I had ordered the Isacord black embroidery thread and loved it, so I ordered red. The red was not a Christmas red color but had more of an orange hue. I was disappointed in the color and not the thread.

Buying the regular brands of embroidery threads I would find at my local sewing shop is how I started on my embroidery journey, but then I found Isacord. I've gone through nearly a dozen different brands of embroidery thread and they've all rough.I don't know how to describe it other than lumpy. Pulling the thread through the machine by hand, you can feel how uneven the thread is. However, this thread is smooth as butter. It stitches out well and the colors are almost always spot on, very little variation.

This thread was recommended to me by a local lady who does embroidery professionally. I really like it I can definitely see the difference in quality from the other string I bought that was cheaper.
