Your cart is empty.The D5 Descender has been designed for use on 1/2 (12.7mm) rope. The D5 is EN12841:2006/C and is compliant with NFPA G and ANSI Z359.4:2013 and developed for the North American Fire & Rescue and Tower Climbing markets, which typically use 1/2 ropes.

Amazing.My go to over the ID! Just trust my life with metal vs plastic. Nothing wrong with the ID which I also own. Just one thing that pushes the D5 over the top besides the quality... attach/detach without fully taking off. Petzl is behind the 8ball though this year they're supposed to make the IDL with the same feature.. still the D5 is metal. So..
