三脚座の固定ねじを緩めたら、自由な角度で撮影できるものと考えていましたが、「NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR」では三脚座を着脱し直すくらい操作が必要です。

Received 1week after ordering ,well packed in perfect condition. Fits my Nikon 28-400,although Nikon say not needed adjusts centre of gravity so easier to use with monopod. It also fits Nikon , DX 50-250 lens.

NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8用に購入。三脚座はこの商品が出るまで、純正もサードパーティ製もなかったので、人柱購入。Z6を三脚に取り付けて、180mmまでズームすると全長が長くなりバランスが悪いため、安定性確保のため導入しました。三脚座があると非常に安定するので、その目的は無事に達成できた。それ自体は良いのですが、取付箇所（レンズに触れる箇所）がプラスチック製？でした。これは使い続けるとレンズ本体に擦り傷確定なので、黒メンディングテープで接触箇所を養生して取り付けました。この養生は必須だと思います。あと、締め付けはネジ止めになりますが、どこまで締め付けてよいのか感覚でしか決められず、強すぎてもダメ、弱すぎるとグラグラするし、そこが悩みどころです。なお、養生メンディングテープをつけた上から締め付けると、心なしか滑り止めになったような感覚があり、安定感が増しました。ただ、縦構図への回転は少し渋くなります。結論から言えば、取り付けの工夫は必須になるので星一つ減ですが、レンズ自体の安定性を求める方には便利なサードパーティアイテムだと思います。他に代替え品もありませんし、現時点ででは当該レンズの三脚座としてはベスト解だと思います。

Z 28-400 f4-8 VR用に購入レンズの筐体がプラスチック製であるが故、縦横の切り替え時に回転座の部分がキズつく恐れあるのでメンディングテープを一周巻きました。摩擦が増えて可動しにくくはなったが概ね良好である。
