These lights are bright. I used one in my attic and one in my basement. The one in my attic puts out enough light that I can see pretty much the entire attic. The one in my basement is on constantly. I have some security cameras and I want to see at all times. I don't think the LED's are using much electricity. I've had these for a while now and if they quit working I would probably buy more of the same. They aren't cheap but worth it to me to see. My eyes aren't what they used to be and these lights help.

Bought these to use for lighting in my garage. They are very bright and light up the whole inside. They simply screw into the socket. The fan blades are adjustable to move up, down or at an angle. Would buy these again when they need to be replaced.

Bought similar lights years ago from the same manufacturer on Amazon. Decided to go with them again. I tell everybody I could perform surgeries in my garage with the brightness they put out. My original ones from 10 years ago are still just as bright as well, 1 out of 4 lights lost power to one of the flip panels, but the other 3 panels are still bright. 10 years and one minor issue with them. I'll buy them again and again.

I thought about replacing the 4plug. 100w fixture with this 8-wing based on brightness. The new one doesn't light up the garage AS bright, but it's still good enough - very bright nonetheless. Possibly because the 4-wing unit is larger. Anyway, this 8-wing is much brighter than the incandescent, "energy saving", wee-yellow 52w bulb in the other socket, so that's a big plus. (Yep, 52w.)Installing is just spinning it round in the standard base then changing each wing's angle as desired. It feels like a solid screw-in yet feels a little wobbly if touched. To help pass the time in installation, one can always listen to a song. But most songs last longer than 30 seconds...Oh, there was a ceiling base fixture that wasn't included but the base was extraneous anyway. 2 sets of screws and mollies did exist, though!
