So easy to use / also to find a product of quality that’s made to go into an older analog system

El sonido es malísimo. Se escucha como si las bocinas estuvieran rotas. No lo compren. Es basura. Lo devolvería pero tiré el empaque, solamente me queda dar mi opinión para que nadie mas cometa el error de comprarlo

Did not work. Not sure if it is the cassette or the radio. I do not have another car to test this on.

I bought this in June 2018 to use in my car stereo, and it worked great for about a year. Great sound quality with minimal noise or distortion. Then a few months ago, my car stereo started spitting out the adapter at random, most likely because of tightness in the spooling mechanism. No problem, I just push it back in and continue listening. Then a couple of days ago, the wire next to the jack became extremely position sensitive, with sound from one or the other speaker blanking out at random, depending on how the wire was hanging from my music device/phone. At this point, I can just barely coax sound out of it regardless of what position the wire is in.I was really hoping this would have lasted longer. I once bought a similar cassette adapter in 1999 from Walmart and used it daily without any problems until 2006. Guess I have to go buy a new one now...(sigh) They just don't make them like they used to...

The CD player in my old Camry froze, and I tried several brands of cassette adapters to feed music from my smart phone. They were all wretched. Finally, I bought one with this brand from the nearby TJ Maxx, Success! And apparently it is no fluke. The one I ordered from Amazon works just as well.

Got a solid 8 months out of it before it stopped working. I think the wires broke which is weird because I haven't pulled on it and the outer rubber cord wrapping is intact and undamaged.

Bought a "classic" car (apparently anything built before 1986 is now an antique in my state) that still has the factory sound system with tape player. This works - PERFECT. I connect it to my iPhone and stream Pandora through the stereo. Keep the factory system for car shows and the value of the vehicle, while listen to modern tunes.

I do not recommend this product. I have used many of these in the past, and they've worked flawlessly. This model or at least the unit I received has two serious problems out of the box. The first is that the music sometimes is muted or only plays from one channel. I am believing that that is due to the sending unit in the tape cassette being misaligned with my head unit. Ejecting the tape and reinserting it restores full sound but it needs to be done a couple of times every day. This may be due to a flaw in my unit. The second problem appears to be a design flaw. The Jack that comes connected to the tape unit is a four connection Jack designed to handle audio both ways. Since there is no mic on the unit, when I plug it into my iPhone, it mutes the mic built into the iPhone. The unit cannot therefore be used as a hands-free phone connection in your car. Every other tape unit like this one I have owned has worked perfectly for this application.Since it doesn't play music properly, and it won't allow me to use it as a hands-free option for my iPhone, the unit is useless. I recommend you buy another manufacturers product.

What can I say, it gets the job done. I also love the fact that the connector is not so big and bulky like so many others I've seen. The cord is also not a thousand feet long. I will definitely order again, if that time comes. As far as sound quality goes, its pretty spot on. Not excessive, like adding its own sounds such as bass and its not a poor quality that it takes away from the music's essence. Its good sound quality.
