I've been trying out several fins for sale on Amazon, so if you'd like to see other options to this set just look up my reviews.The pair of fins is relatively lightweight, ok propulsion using several kicking motions like frog kicking, normal flutter kick, dolphin, scissor and even backward kicking. I know that no one fin is designed to be perfect for each/every type of kick but I wanted to give them each the same type of use. For this pair I found in general it was decent at all kicks except frog kicking. For the boot, I love the release clamp on the side but the shell of the boot is made with thinner rubber, meaning less comfort, and there are several ports across the top which for me allows too much sand and silt to enter. The sizing was great as my wide foot fit easily so my thought would be to wear booties and you should be fine.

These work great! They are a medium length flipper. They don't take up a huge amount of space in a suit case and are super handy for snorkeling. For sure cut back on the amount of work you have to do in the water which in turns cuts back on the breathing hard. Easy on and easy off buckles on the side. We purchased some neoprene socks to go with them just in case they decided to rub on our ankles when swimming.

Ordered these to replace my original Aqua Sphere Zip Fins (split fin) which are no longer available. I have been very pleased with their performance, fit and construction. The only reason I did not give these five stars is that the strap is not padded. Fortunately, the padded straps that I had for the Aqua Sphere Zip fins are a perfect replacement fit.

Nice fins for a decent price. They were a little big but with the straps tightened up all the way, they worked fine for my size 6 foot.
